OK - that's not quite what I had in mind for the exclusivity agreements so it's a misinterpretation on my part.

Yeah - I see no issue with a vendor/customer exclusivity agreement of the type you described as long as it doesn't run afoul of the various aspects of anti-trust.

Unfortunately, that’s the type of agreement I had lawyers tell me are classified as non-compete and warned that the FTC may eliminate them making any contract null and void.

Substantively, exclusivity agreements do appear to be the same as non-competes, but the FTC rule doesn't specifically address them.

I think exclusivity agreements are fine, which is why I find it odd they get lumped with non-competes. For a business (especially a small business) it allows them to enter into an agreement with a larger or important party and not have to worry about that party/business also working with a competitor. However, once that agreement has ended, there certainly shouldn’t be any amount of time where one or both parties can’t move on to business elsewhere.

Someone on ResetERA pointed out that this is gonna hit the WWE hard - as well it should!

However, there's little doubt in my mind that this will eventually end up in front of SCOTUS as a "major questions doctrine" case.

I feel like the big new lore drop is pretty lame honestly. It doesn't ruin anything, but it really feels like they dropped the ball on that one. And like, after The Outer Worlds, I thought for sure I'd never see that godawful shitty trope in a Bethesda product.

    Spoilers and overall thoughts

Like, fuckin' really corporations bad? A-fucking-gain? God, it's so lame. It's shit like this that gives me no faith in future Bethesda Products.

And did the Vault 31-32-33 really not seem that bad to anyone else? Like, in what world is that a reason to kill yourself over? Like, maybe I missed something, but it pretty much seemed like a "normal" vault.

While I'm sure it will be explained, Moldaver just existing for over 200 years for no reason feels really lame at the moment. The actual ending was underwhelming as well. I think Kal said it felt small or something and I really agree with that. I feel like the ending to that quest should have been a bit more grand or something. You can tell it was a Bethesda Product cuz the ending was similar to Fallout 3. Only it is Energy instead of Water.

AND REALLY WAR NEVER CHANGES?!?!?! BRO JUST STOP. PLS BRO. BRO PLS. We don't need it anymore.

And so, if Vault Tech nuked America, did they nuke the rest of the world? Does the rest of the world have vaults? Is everywhere else more fucked or less fucked since they may not have Vault Tech? Like, I would be funny if only America was a wasteland and the rest of the world was just fine. I mean, why would they want to come to America?

And we'll see what happens, but Thad turning into maybe-a-ghoul seems really fuckin' weird. Like, there was a potion of ghoulification this whole time? Like, huh? What? It feels so random and out of place, like, I'm not sure what to think about that whole thing with the chicken-fucker doctor.

But overall it's a fantastic show. Worthy of a watch. Feels exactly like Fallout 3. I like Fallout 3. 9/10

I don’t believe this was really a new lore drop, it was more-or-less already established in the games lore going back to the first 2 games afaik. Also, “war never changes” is the tagline for the games, it’s like “with great power comes great responsibility” in Spider-Man :p

What did change with the lore:

    Spoiler

Vault Tec being the ones to cause the bomb drops, as Tim Cain previously said it was China who shot the first nuke, and all other countrIes then emptied their silos onto one another

But, the corporations being evil and using the vaults as a way to experiment on people and “rebuild the world how they saw fit” was there since the first game.

Don’t need one for a bit, and will stick with Ford if I can. My dad and grandfather worked for them and I can still use my dad’s discount on new vehicles purchase/lease.

Ford just teased a “green” (actual) Mustang for their 2025 MY unveil. Likely the non-plug-in electric hybrid 4.0L v8 AWD version they were supposed to put out a couple years back but held off on as they didn’t want to cannibalize MachE sales. Their goal was 30-35mpg avg with “at minimum, the same or better performance than the current* GT” (*they stated this with the 2018 GT that did a 3.8 0-60 and an 11.8 1/4 mile)

Won’t ever drive a car again, if I can do so. Been rear ended so many times in my Escapes, and one had me ready to testify against the woman that hit in my first incident. I swear if I weren’t in my bigger SUV type vehicle I could have been really hurt in that first one. So until an affordable electric SUV is available, I’ll be sadly feeding Dino juice to whatever I drive next. Although affordable Hybrid would also interest me as well

I still don't understand why Israel needs an aid package.  That money would be better spent in Ukraine.

IIRC, Israeli military aid packages have a lot of strings attached that essentially make it a back door subsidy to US weapons manufacturers. It also stops Israel from buying weapons elsewhere, and even more importantly, gives US some semblance of “control” in how far they go in military responses/actions; if Israel wasn’t getting military aid from the US, knowing what I know of Israel and the IDF, I fully believe they’d be hitting any/all potential threats with preemptive strikes like an unchained rabid dog. Without the aid packages, without Biden at the US’ helm, that response to Iran would have been absolutely terrifying, IMO. The aid packages to Israel are more of a leash above anything else.
