  1. Fuuuuck this. I don’t know what else to say. This country has a bad, bad problem with institutional rot in healthcare, mental health care, child care, just about any kind of fucking care you can think of, it’s all run by complete fucking lunatic sociopaths and I hope every one of them fucking burns for eternity. If anything like this ever happened to one of my kids I’d be going Falling Down on their asses.

Last night Ukraine attacked three airfields in Russia, one as far as 500 miles in, with at least 117 drones. Largest drone attack by Ukraine so far, it seems, and quite deep into Russia. Locals in Russia complained that most drones weren't even shot at—it appears that Russia does not have sufficient air defense in depth, especially for low-flying drones.

Because all their air defense is in Ukraine :daydream:

To Yarvin, incremental reforms and half-measures are necessarily doomed. The only way to achieve what he wants is to assume “absolute power,” and the game is all about getting to a place where you can pull that off. Critics have called his ideas “fascist” — a term he disputes, arguing that centralizing power under one ruler long predates fascism, and that his ideal monarch should rule for all rather than fomenting a class war as fascists do.

Oh okay. Thanks for clearing that one up for us Vox

You know, I'm pretty sure I got like a D in high school economics, and I could have told any of these idiot companies that higher prices result in lower demand.

They probably assumed that cuz number go up, consumers must have the extra cash laying around to spend $6 on a bag of chips. Capitalists have absolutely no idea how poor the average American is.

Louisiana is the fourth state to enact a so-called police buffer law, which allows officers to order people to keep their distance. Journalists say the law will make it harder to document when police use excessive force.

Oh cool, more strengthening of the police state with straight up fascism
