It feels like the PS4 Pro has been in a constant supply shortage since release.

I was shocked to see while shopping at walmart this weekend that they had no ps4s at all and only one xbox x, not even an s in stock. Seemed weird . . .

  2. I want the 1180 Ti is what I'm saying / asking. I want to build this next PC using that as the base. So I'm going to now have to wait what could be maybe 6 more months. I out waited my 1080ti build because your right. It's going to be out performed by most if not all the upcoming 11cards. That's all. I'm going to buy one the month they get released this time. Cant wait, but I will have to.

  3. Well to be honest. Were not "just weeks away" for the flagship Ti version. That's what I want, so 6 months away now for a retail 1180Ti ?

But I can say this. I'm buying one day one this time, and that's exciting to build a new gaming rig (my 7th) with cutting edge tech. I will own a first gen 1180Ti!!

Easiest way to get legendary gear is turning in tokens to the vendors. Guaranteed one or two legendaries. Infusing let's you put a blue, purple or exotic into another gun to raise its power level. That auto rifle you like isn't useless - if you get a more powerful auto rifle you can infuse it into the one you like to bring it up to your current power. If you don't like crucible, don't play it. There's one gun from that loot pool that is truly worth it, and that's Better Devils. Everything else is mediocre.

Really, when you're just powering up it's really about just playing the game. Finish the campaigns, collect a set of guns you like, trash/infuse the ones you don't, do the milestones for power increases.

im trying, i ment exotics sorry. I have 2 i like but are way under powered. I hate the way my guy looks too, can i enfuse gear into exotics I like too?

    What system?

You do need to bring your light level up a bit if you want to raid or do heroic strikes. And if you feel worried you'll just be in the way, maybe watch some walkthrough videos on the raids to familiarize yourself with the mechanics, it really helps to visualize all the steps in these sometimes confusing fights. No one has a problem raiding with a newbie, but raiding with someone who's not willing to learn and just wants a carry is a different story. You sound more like the former than the latter, so get yourself closer to 300 and I'd be happy to run you through leviathan if you're on PS4.

Im on ps4, got up to light 280, I need some guns bad. I really liked my Legendary auto rifle, but now it's usless, I just don't understand what all I need to do to get cool weapons. I might have only had 10 legendary anythings ever! Fusing weapons is confusing and I just don't know. as a shooter it's fun, but it has always been very confusing to me. I do HATE the crucible part and always have. seemed like you had to take part in i at least some to get the good stuff, etc. #worried!

Do you Bigtime PC guys think that planning on a high end 1080ti 2k + budget build a bad idea with these this close? I play PC games on high or close to max settings now but in 1080p usually even though it's on a 65 inch 4k TV. I really want to have most games running at 60fps at 4k though, money won't be a huge issue, but I want very good performance for the next 5 years?

  7. Accidently bought the 2 expansions for 20 bucks last night while trying to find out about forsaken and what all this is, and when it is.

My issue is, I just haven't really experienced the raids and strikes. No one willing to explain just what to do, most are just not willing to play with a light level 260 old guy. I want to, but I feel like I'm just in the way

  8.     Their going to be spending an enormous amount of money to ensure that they have the exclusives that count this time. I just need them to get the hardware right the FIRST time! I can afford it and have bought 2 xbox ones, and xbox one s and and x, but most won't! This is along with their gaming partners is the single most important point they have to NAIL! It's going to be expencive, they are going to lose money on the console in the beginning, they have to be in it for the Looong haul this time. Leave the controller alone, GET THE HARDWARE right the FIRST time, and us the consumers will see that our wallets are there for the taking. Me being a unbiased consumer of consoles as I will buy them all, I will respect it more if they really look at how the new console upgrades felt each time a new one was on the shelf. I just feel this is where they need to get it right, and for Sony too. I'm in, just make the consoles future proof and move on!

Well, they easily don't have exclusives like Sony and Nintendo.

Still, I love, and prefer, their services.

I liked it even before things started to turn around for them in the last few months.

I really think that this will even if it wasn't coming already, going to make Microsoft really swing for the fences with their next gen system. I was a Microsoft first guy forever and have to admit I've leaned towards my PS4 pro for a long time now. I mean it's where most my gaming time is spent now. I like the controller better on the X and just think that there is going to be quite the fight for our attension in the coming years and it's a great thing for every one of us that calles themselves even remotely a gamer. Good stuff!

There is no way in hell an effectively "pure" streaming device will work with the American broadband market.

Agreed, I'm the only guy I know of {That I spend real time with } that has at least 500Mbs down, it's too expencive to most friends I have. I pay 189 a month for Cable, phone and internet and thats worth it to me, most I know would choke over that number.

I turned on my ps4 with my friend over and it had an update for a game that was 19 gigs and my friend just cried, saying that woould take him almost the entire day to download, it was 9 minutes at my house! never though I'd get to 2 gigs a minute in real time, but it's here and I love it so much. Funny thing is steam is 3 times the speeds I get from the PS network . . .lol

  11.    At first I find myself "Hyped", but honestly I know I wont put the time in if the story doesn't grab me and hang on. I just haven't been grabbed by a JRPG in a long time. I seem to want this game, but I know it's not for me.  . .

My favourite console of all time has to either be the PS4 or Xbox1 -- both have the best examples of video games in almost every genre.  If you were to ask me to answer this question 5 years from now, I fully expect to answer PS5 of XboxNext.  Games are just continually getting so much better, year-on-year.

If you were to ask me which was the best "in its day" -- the PS2 consistently had the most  and best games.  Because game development has gotten so expensive, I don't think we will ever get that much high quality software coming out on an ongoing basis, ever again.

Totally disagree 1000%. Games aren't getting better, they are getting prettier, yes!! But not better. Opinions respected in all, but having most of what has ever been offered, my favorite is the Xbox 360, followed by the SNES. I love my Ps4 Pro, and my Xbox 1 x, blah blah blah, but the best gaming memories are getting left further and further back in the dust by rehashes, and mindless copies of everything under the sun.

That said, I am a happy gamer, we have quality content to choose from in any type way or fashion. So many great games, and yes! Many have been great, just not the type games that never seem to leave you best gaming blissful memories, I'm not talking "ahh, remember when I made prestige 1000 in CoD 15. If i've lost you well then fine, as a gamer going on 36 years, i'm still real fond of the earlier stuff as for all-time favorite games.

I picked Xbox 360 though because it's where the whole gaming with friends and huge libraries of wonderful fun were had. The SNES is where those unforgettable games for the most part were first played by me though!
