We’ve had actual bombings in this country by right and left political actors. This isn’t something new. It’s always a sad day in America when this stuff happens, but we aren’t in remotely uncharted political territory here.

There's a huge difference where, in this case, the president is blaming these bombs on their recipient "dressing too slutty".

Man, I couldn't be happier for Price. He pitched his heart out and earned that. What a way to get your first postseason win after so many failures.

I couldn't be happier for a lot of them. I'm trying not to be biased, but I can't imagine how anyone couldn't like these guys.

This guy needs to get shot in his ass too.

This is the guy that said his wife was freaked out about this kid trying to break in and then he slipped and accidentally fired his gun, right? That's quite the story when he, himself, has his front door covered by a security camera. I'm surprised he didn't even try to erase the footage.

It did for me. Massive frame drops and completely inconsistent frame rate made me miss the timing on some of the QTEs far more often than was acceptable. (And the acceptable amount is 0.)

Really? The salvaging QTEs were tricky in some areas. The QTEs during battles may as well have not existed because they were so easy to hit. I think the only times I ever missed a QTE in battle was when one of my kids pulled my attention away from the Switch. This isn't Mario and Luigi having you hit attacks in some sort of rhythm or based on some well timed cue. That sucks, but I have no idea if that's the norm.

It gets ugly, it runs awful, and it's not a turn-based JRPG, it's pseudo-turn-based at best. There's way too much movement and timing for it to be considered turn-based.

The only actual timing based action in the games were for the special and elemental attacks and not once did frame rate limit my ability to hit those. Again, I played the game like 90% in handheld mode and sank well over 100 hours into it. This is not an action RPG. It's like Grandia, but you can manually control the character movement and your character just auto-spams the basic attack when its action meter reaches the end.

Going back and playing through Star Fox on the SNES is hard, even though I loved the game when it first came out. Xenoblade 2 is nothing like that. It gets ugly sometimes, but it's perfectly playable and never stops being fun.

  6. Everything about this is dumb. I actually liked Google+ as a place to share photos. There just wasn't anyone to, you know, share photos with there. I stopped using it years ago after this became apparent.

    Either way. Update: https://www.theverge.com/2018/10/9/17957312/google-plus-vulnerability-privacy-breach-law

TLDRL This wasn't actually a breach and there is no evidence that anyone's data was stolen. Google patched the issue back when it was first discovered that this the API call could theoretically be used in a malicious manner...not that anyone ever tried to use it in a malicious manner.

Seems to me that Google was already planning to shutter Google+ to non-GSuite users and is just using this as an excuse to either announce their plans or hasten its death.

The only people who really understand it are the 4 million people in DC and PR.  To everyone else, it's a factoid that is rediscovered during election time and then quickly forgotten about.

There are an other 5m or so Puerto Ricans living states-side, so I'm pretty sure that number doesn't cover half the people that care about that factoid.
