This movie is so bad. Soooo fucking bad. My God.

I'm not expecting brilliance from an action movie about a vigilante rideshare driver, but I at least expect it to be fun and it can't even manage that. The movie has no flow, it has a ridiculous protagonist, an obvious villain, and poorly shot action. 

Meet McCall. The motivational speaking, thug life discouraging, ex special forces Lyft driver. Who also reunites Jewish families that were separated from each other during the Holocaust, cleans up graffiti, makes everybody he ever talked to love him, always manages to pick up the right people for him to dispense justice, and somehow finds time to read a million books and learn a bunch of languages too. He's so spit-shiny perfect that he fails to be interesting in any way.

And when your movie kills off literally every other character that your villain could be, but still takes half an hour after that to come out and say it, you're gonna have a bad time.

This though is exactly what we are going to get so long as we think it’s fine to target people for their bad opinions, jokes, etc. It is only going to happen more frequently as the social media archives fill up with our worst moments.

I'm no fan of all the consolidation going on but Comcast is the worst company ever. I don't want Disney owning everything and exerting more pressure on theaters and the like, but Disney at a bare minimum does have some good content creators and directors under their umbrella. Comcast has proven to be nothing but a disaster as the owner of NBC. The network is worse in every respect when it comes to sports, original programming, and news than it was 10 years ago.

Tempting... But there's that feeling that new cards are right around the corner.

The current AF1 color scheme is reserved and dignified, but dated. I won't mind seeing a change, and at the same time what Trump says he's done and what he's actually done are two very different things so I'm less worried about it being as gaudy and distasteful as it could be.

I wouldn't mind something in the vein of France's paint job for theirs.
