How many casualties resulted in Iran's attack? How much infrastructure was damaged? Is there any ongoing harm as a result?

Toyota had the absolute gall to request $8/month for remote start in my van. After having a year free. Absolutely not worth it
Not exactly enshitification in the traditional sense but falls under that umbrella definitely.- 1

I believe it was $199/month previouslyAlso, personally, I feel as though monthly subs to use features built into something you own is anti-consumer (yes, I know Tesla isn’t the only to do this).
I will never pay for a subscription for anything in my car.- 1

Will have to name it something after Mormons. Like the Utah Door Knockers or something.
I think they should go with naming the team something that has nothing to do with the region. Such as Real Salt Lake or the Utah Jazz. Its tradition at this point.- 1

I feel like I’m a spokesperson for SAVE now, I’m trying to get everyone I know with student loans to sign up, especially those close to my age.
Literally no reason not to if you qualify. -

Arizona Coyotes players were informed Friday that the team is relocating to Utah, sources told ESPN, confirming a report by PHNX Sports.
Well well well. Sounds like the brand isn’t moving though. -
Gen Z has no concept of file systems and structure because they grew up with very robust universal search mechanisms.

Unless it's changed fairly recently, having literally any college degree is correlated with significantly higher lifetime earnings compared to people without a 4 year degree. That doesn't warrant taking out massive loans to obtain nor justifies the continual inflation of the cost of said degree of course, but in general getting any degree is better than not having one even if we're talking solely economics and none of the other benefits of a college education.
Yes, but for Millennials the thought of being a plumber or whatever was looked down on, when in fact plumbers make damn good money. But you'd never know that growing up in the late 90s early 00s because they were trades not white collar jobs.

but it has been for many people through a combination of ignorance and predatory behavior.
I always add cultural pressure to this mix. I cannot undersell how much it was ingrained into millennials that a college education was pretty much the only chance at success unless you were a freak. Thus: get a college education at any cost.

I mostly just lurked on IGN. I guess that might be true of me here too compared to the posting frequency of some others. But I definitely post here more than I ever did on IGN. I remember somebody posted a link to Bad Cartridge on IGN and I came here and never went back to IGN.

You could make a macro level argument that any individual billionaire is more harmful to society than any individual rapist or murderer or whatever.
I'm not making that argument but it could be made. I don't like capital punishment in the general sense.

Billionairism is a sickness. Knowing this as a possible outcome, why wouldn't you just get out of Dodge once you hit a billion? Why keep going? Because you're ill.

Reports: NHL Exploring Arizona Coyotes’ Relocation To Utah For 2024-25
WWW.FORBES.COM
The NHL's Arizona Coyotes have dealt with relocation rumors for decades. But this time is different: Salt Lake City is a real possibility, as early as next season.
I think we’ll have a team at some point but it won’t be the Coyotes. I think the NHL is just using Ryan as a pawn to get the Coyotes to bend a little. -
One more reason that corporations are buying up residential property.

My favorite thing about KISS is all the Family Guy bits related to them. I don’t even mind the sellout/money making/whatever because they’ve always been very up front about that. I don’t really know their music at all though.

Counterpoint: Chipotle is one of the last remaining values when eating out. Less than $10 (here) for a chicken bowl with rice and veggies? I eat there 2-3 times a month.
There’s Cafe Rio (sucks) and Costa Vida (pretty good) where I’m at in addition to Chipotle. Similar pricing and food. -

Although Trump has the benefit of a literal cult following who will always hear what they want to hear regardless of what he actually says.
Plus a lot of them also don't give a shit what he personally says on abortion since he delivered them a SCOTUS majority that overturned Roe.
Yeah. That’s why I differentiated between the cultists and the rest of the party :P -

But what does that really mean? Turn on him in favor of what? Those R's aren't about to cross party lines, nor is this more likely to make them stay at home and refrain from voting, not when they see the left capitalizing on national sentiments regarding the issue.
It’s analogous to the Biden/Israel conflict. It could motivate people to stay home if it’s a prime issue for them. -

There was a truck in front of me with a US Army sticker, a Trump as Calvin peeing on the word "liberals" sticker, a Let's go Brandon sticker and a sticker that said, "Does this ass make my truck look big?" with a picture of Joe Biden on it.
Can you guess the manufacturer?
Bonus points for the color.

~*Official Iran/Israel War Watch Thread*~ update (04/18): Israeli missiles target military airbase in Iran

Not to diminish the pain of the child--that's absolutely awful--but it seems like Israel could garner some good will by brushing this one off and considering it a win. I mean Iran wasted a somewhat limited supply of missiles and drones.
