Utah Gov. Spencer Cox posted a series of tweets in response to comments about his call to pray for rain, starting by writing that Utah — along with most of the West — “is experiencing its worst drought since 1956.”

 

Well, two years later we got more snow than we had in like forty years or something. And the GSL went above its 2022 low. Checkmate atheists.

Came in here to say that I cannot believe that I think it would be better if he stayed on in the current climate. The fact that Mitch fucking McConnell is one of the "good" (using that term extremely loosely) Republicans is just a fucking nightmare.

I don't give patronage to businesses with surge pricing. But if one ever came around that did dynamic decline pricing in a similar manner I'd start throwing money at them.

I cannot tell what the story of this movie is. Also the score is horrifically generic. Like absolutely disgusting and offensively so. The cast looks great, though.

Well, his directorial track record appears pretty good so that's a plus. I remember really liking Open Range but I haven't seen it since I worked at the video store as a teenager around its release date.

I can sympathize with encourage every Russian to flee to avoid conscription and not be an orc in Ukraine. But if you're just going to go do a racism I'm going to want to send you right back to the front line.

There are other ways he could undermine NATO through non-participation in Alliance activities or not funding the US share that are short of outright leaving.

This is more what I was alluding to. Basically all the ways that count: Spending decreases, non-participation, not honoring the agreement should it come to it, etc.

I agree with that. We had an eclipse here in Salt Lake a couple months ago and it got extremely dark in a moment's notice.

Nah that piece goes way too hard. I feel some people won't be happy unless Stewart dedicates a segment of his time to propping up Biden. That's never been his show nor his style. The criticisms he offered of Biden in his first show back were and are valid. He also clearly laid out the differences between the criticisms people make of both Biden and Trump and why the choice is obvious. If anything, he's educating the uninitiated on the republican strategy and talking points and why they're weak shit.

Also, people shouldn't treat the situation like Stewart's humor and insight alone are going to save us from Trump.
