This isn't really surprising. It was unusual for Rockstar NOT to put RDR on PC, in fact. What would be surprising is if they manage to do the fucking port less than 12 years after the game comes out. Fuckers take forever.

I thought they said the RDR code is too much of a Rube Goldberg machine to port to PC.

Months before the United States narrowly elected Trump, the United Kingdom narrowly elected to withdraw from the European Union. Both votes advanced Russian foreign policy goals — in the latter case, by splitting up the Western alliance. (Trump has energetically pursued this strategy, too.) Russia employed many of the same tools to influence both elections. It deployed social-media bots and trolls to spread its message. It recruited friendly candidates who gave voice to previously marginal Russophile positions. And, as the newly surfaced evidence suggests, it indirectly financed the campaign.

While it would certainly be difficult for a movie theater to be profitable off of ticket sales only, in the aggregate we keep around 45% of all our ticket revenue while sending the other 55% to the studios. A significant reduction in ticket revenue would be bad for the theaters, but the big point of the subscription model is to get customers in to the theater more often which could definitely offset the per transaction loss in ticket revenue with over all increases in ticket and concessions revenue.

I've always been a proponent of keeping ticket prices low to encourage great attendance and more spends at the concession stand.

I'm curious what you think of the bit about thinking this is more sustainable as a single-chain subscription than a subscription that gets you into multiple participating chains.
