Jeremy Renner shared video of himself jogging on a special treadmill, just months after he was severely hurt in a snowplow accident. 'Pain is progress for me.'

I'm not sure I can forgive him for killing all those people in Japan, even though he contributed to saving half the planet.

  2. I'm more concerned that trans women are looking too much like regular women so that I might accidentally jack off to one before realizing I did something wrong.

And you just know there are Maga conservatives who think that exact thing.

As for me, really, I still find Bugs Bunny as a girl really HAWT. Way too many people let such unimportant things get in their way of their mundane lives.

  3. I was looking for something in the same vein as Stardew Valley without the strict time constraints (very quick days), and I found Sun Haven, which just released a short bit ago. It, instead of just a farming sim, involves fantasy elements into it as well, and I've already put in over 100 hours into it. It's a lot of fun.

What a delightfully silly, highly entertaining episode

I think it speaks to a degree of confidence in itself that this show is so very willing to relegate its ostensible protagonist to an essentially supporting role for so much of this season.  Of course, that could be a reflection that Din Djarin might not necessarily be the main character of this series anymore as the IGN article posted below suggests.

In essence, while he was the titular "The Mandalorian" for the first two seasons of this series (and half the season for Boba Fett's own show), it could very well be that he isn't "The Mandalorian" for this season (or perhaps even going forward) and that "The Mandalorian" of show's title now really is Bo-Katan.

The latest episode of The Mandalorian solidifies something we've suspected all season long - this is no longer Din Djarin's show. Find out why Bo-Katan has become the series' true main protagonist in Season 3.

And as @CayceG suggested above, the title could eventually pass from Bo-Katan to

    Sabine Wren

We might need to stop thinking of the show's title in terms of a single, specific "The Mandalorian" and that it will pass (much like the Darksaber itself) from one Mandalorian to another.

Since the show began, my belief has been that Grogu was always the Mandalorian from conception. It just took a couple of seasons for that to play out. But I always suspected that was going to be the case.

  5. I'm kind of on a rehash/update kick with games recently. Been mostly looking for a space sim game but haven't really found anything that does anything for me. A few days ago, I bought Distant Worlds 2 and tried to start it up, but so far it's feeling a lot like an overly complicated Galactic Civilizations 3. Still too new to really make a decision yet.

My other rehash that I finally put into the queue is Master of Magic, which is a rehash they made a year or so ago.

Unfortunately, finding something awesome to play with a top notch system can sometimes be hard. Might just play through backlog until Starfield finally comes out, and then I probably won't emerge again for months to come.

But it’s still just one of those weird things that if I think about it, it kind of hurts my head how they don’t consider themselves racist and you’ll never be able to get a straight answer out of anyone besides maybe a klan member. They do openly admit they are racist right?

I kind of equate it to the efforts they make to push forth the argument that they're not racist because they "hate everyone".

  7. There was a point during the pandemic where I started to wonder about Adams because his whole humor was based on office culture, yet office culture was being destroyed all over the place. And then to make things worse, due to his career success, he wasn't even able to make commentary on the changed work environment because he no longer spoke like the sarcastic critic of the work place as he hadn't been in a work place in ages.

I guess it might be insensitive to ask but do you have any idea why he didn't leave her rather than kill himself? I understand it when kids kill themselves for, say, getting bullied in school because they are a) immature and unable to put things into perspective and also b) forced by law to be there. Or when women with abusive husbands do since leaving is often a death sentence as well and they're often financially dependent (especially if they had kids with that person and stayed at home to raise them). But if you're an adult male in the USA and the bully is your wife you can just, like, get a divorce. Were there some additional reasons or am I missing something obvious?

Another thing to consider is that in some cases, divorce is far worse than suicide because a shrewd wife playing the right cards can seriously destroy a husband for decades after a divorce as the legal system still rewards a wife over a husband after the divorce. And while a few instances have tried to reverse this, it's still very lopsided against men, even the ones smart enough to marry with a prenup.

It’s only center left if you lack basic analytical skills. It’s pretty solidly right center to right. Think never trump vein of conservative, not full dumbass right because they can follow and create an argument, antithesis of the trump far right.

it’s been this way for a long while. An institution for the status quo. Try to keep up

There's a significant reason why West Point has historically given a copy of the New York Times to every cadet dorm room from the first day of the fall semester until graduation. When I was that age, I thought it was because of the stature of the New York Times. But then over the years, I realized the reasoning was because there's no better herald of news in the US that buys the foundation of what the west believes than the New York Times. And no, this isn't a criticism of the New York Times, but just an acknowledgement of something people should have realized a long time ago.

  10. I was a strong conservative right up through the Reagan years. Saw liberals as weak and spineless, mainly because I was in the service and bought the erroneous lie that Republicans stood for military and patriotism. I was right about Trump from day one, projecting that there was no way a woman was going to defeat him. People kept saying I was wrong and I kept telling them the Electoral College doesn't work as they believed. Even criticized Nate Silver, comparing Trump's campaign to the mule effect. I wish I had been wrong.

  11. This is the one thing that is bothering me. If this was a UFO, or if any future unidentified object is a classical UFO, the US's first response is to shoot it down without even considering that it might be here for peaceful purposes. So, imagine if we're flying a surveillance recon of some future planet, how do you think we would respond if some unforseen alien civilization chose to respond to our "we come in peace message" by shooting down our representative? We may have just declared war on some alien race that we have yet to even establish communications. Just saying.
