Find private sitters/tutors. I don’t know, but its not teachers job to risk their life because parents might be inconvenienced.
With what money? You know this affects the poorest people who are most likely to have lost their job right?

On "Big Government" and why it's actually just an excuse to uphold racism.

Hopefully this movie actually has Tron in it and not some cameo/b.s., "That's no moon, it's a space station..." revelation explaining that some loser in a mask was Tron all along =/
If I remember correctly Tron: Uprising had some of the origin story in it about TRON being controlled by CLU

This checks out that a "real-estate developer" would want to sell Puerto Rico and buy Greenland.

Waits for the Hegemon, Peter Ender, to declare the Armenian people a protected nation.

Yeah I've been trying to explain the difference between asymptomatic and presymptomati since this thing started because it was obvious that the two were being conflated if you actually read what was being reported at the time.
Also people are also not considering those infected who have very mild symptoms and shrug it off as allergies or more mild colds (coupled with not being able to get tested) would absolutely be thought of as asymptomatic for most people.

There are 2 aspects to tests, specificity and sensitivity. In my experience you would want to have a rapid antibody test to be not very specific (ok to pick up similar caronavirus antibodies) and be rather sensitive with a higher rate of false positives. You can then go back and retest the positive samples using a virus nutralization method that takes more time/ resources, but you are screening out the definitely negative cases. Also don't get me started on the differences in antibodies (Igg, Igm) and how usually trying to detect one doesn't mean you can detect the other in the same test.

Essential worker, we split up our section into two groups and the other 2 come in at 7:00AM to 12:00PM and we come in at 12:15PM to 5:15PM. We get 3 hours "work" from home (but really how much work can I do at home when I'm using BSC's, pipettes, and thermocyclers) We have limited contact with the people in our building between the 2 shifts. I think this is going to end on June 1st. Also my family got the full stimulus.

Everytime I hear of white people feeling oppressed my mind jumps to the quote
"To oppressors equality feels like oppression."

He loves tests but also doesn't understand how they work.
So he would rather she wasn't tested? Or is it simply that it gave him a result he didn't want. Oh noes the test is no good it's not a yes man.

The air is thick with desperation for a scandal to take down Joe Biden.
Especially there is already a treasure trove of things they can go after with his failson, unless they are nervous about similar scrutiny on Trump's failfamily

Isn't Cuomo's argument a bit disingenuous? I was under the impression that these billions of dollars that red states are getting aren't really payments or welfare, but instead federal activity - things like military bases and federal facilities and jobs count towards that number.
These things still exist in blue states
