People have been saying for awhile that rather than oil, the wars of the future will be over water.
So the future is less Mad Max and more Solarbabies.

This dumb mother fucker can't even do the easy part right, reading from a teleprompter. Guess that's what happens when you really don't care about the subject matter at all

I guessed Brazil since I thought Bolsonaro would have lied about something like this.

Just watched episode one and really enjoyed it. Given the warnings at the beginning of the show I thought the assault was gonna be really uncomfortable. I take it in the book that scene was a lot more gratuitous?
Book spoilers I guess
SpoilerIt was actually Homelander she had to go down on. Initially. Then A-Train and Black Noir showed up, dropped trou.
I prefer the way the show handled it. Homelander is already enough of an asshole so it gave a bit of character to The Deep.

4 episodes in.
SpoilerDeath by facesitting
The Deep and the dolphin
This has been a fun ride so far.

Also just finished ep1. Loving it. Haven't read the books in forever but this seemed pretty damn faithful.

World Champion gets crowned at All Out. I haven't heard but I'm guessing they could book another free "PPV" in September to hash out the rest of the divisions.

Bit shocked it's in DC. Me and some buddies are planning to get tickets

John Ryder terrified me when I was younger. I'd love to find out if it still has the same impact if they'd ever re-release the damn thing.

I really liked the first half of House it was nice homage to Texas Chainsaw Massacre. But once they got underground it just got kinda nonsensical and too weird. But as a whole it was different and entertaining which I value a lot in horror with so much cookie cutter stuff out there.
Chris Hardwick getting vivisected is the true highlight of the underground scene.

His 1st Halloween movie reminds me of The Killing Joke. A backstory that no one asked for followed by something we were all familiar with.
The sequel was trash. He found any means possible to shoehorn his wife into a movie she had no business being in.
I'd say he's the Kevin Smith of horror but Smith found at least average success outside of his moneymaker.

Not much I can add that hasn't already been said but this was a great binge and I'm looking forward to the finale. Ep. 4 was definitely a hard watch with the animal unit.

Global warming is going to also do a few extra things: Decrease Oxygen (as phytoplankton in the oceans die) and increase CO2. Combined, this will eventually make it so that humans cannot function properly as higher thought depends on CO2 being below a certain point, and Oxygen above a certain point.

It was pretty cool of Gandalf to send Shadowfax to help Arya!
Wouldn't be surprised if it was Bran on vacation again.

That's the main problem with this shortened season - everything is going to be condensed to a completely infuriating degree.
You mean like Bronn casually walking into Winterfell with a crossbow and just managing to stumble into the room with the very 2 people he needs to confront?
