Wait are you seriously comparing drafting a player BEFORE he commits to a crime to trading for a player AFTER he commits a crime? What the fuck?

Before? The best tight end in the country doesnt fall to the 4th round because every team in the league is solid at tight end. Give me a break.

I've moved on. Maybe you should, too.

    This is a baseball thread.

Passive aggressive shitbaggery! I get it now. You're cool with shitbags as long as they are your shitbags because you are, in fact, a shitbag.

I'm just thinking there's a bit of a difference in a team that immediately cuts ties with a player who gets arrested for murder and a team that knowingly trades for a domestic abuser, especially when they have quite a few players vocally opposed.

Is there? Everyone knew who he was. Teams draft shitbags all the time. That's my point.

I criticize my teams when they're shitty, so your 'gotcha!' doesn't work.

I don't follow football as closely, but I don't recall any recent domestic violence issues with the Patriots.

No domestic violence, he just murdered some people. It wasn't meant as a gotcha. It was a more of a give me a break.

I don't care, they have awesome homegrown talent, too. Mookie for MVP.

So do the Braves. The difference is the extra 120 million in payroll, but that's baseball. I can move on to watching the Falcons choke tomorrow. lol

Did you actually watch the series?

    1. The kids are somewhere around 15 and 17. So it's really not that crazy.

    2. Ted's character is exactly the kind of guy who would tell his kids these type of stories. Not in a pervy way, but in an excitable, goofy guy who is halfway through a story before realizing it may not be appropriate kind of way.

    3. It is a running gag throughout the series that not everything you are seeing on screen is what he is telling the kids. This is used to comic effect quite a lot.

First things first: BCS is better than BB.

And now for the season 4 Premiere...good golly what an ending! “That’s your cross to

bear” is an all timer. Jimmy is Saul, there is absolutely no turning back.

I also adored the whole sequence with Mike realizing he can’t not work and collect those checks.

I agree with all of this.
