Posted November 3, 2021 Share Posted November 3, 2021 To fill Alcee Hasting's seat (guy has a shady past, recently died), a primary was held yesterday and the general election will be in January. A couple dozen votes separate the two: Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick, Dale Holness locked in tight race for Alcee Hastings' seat WWW.PALMBEACHPOST.COM Special primary was too close to call Tuesday, with razor thin margin between Broward County Commissioner Dale Holness and Sheila Cherfilus-McCormack. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick ran against Hastings a couple times. I actually convinced someone here in 2018 when she ran against Hastings in a primary to vote for Cherfilus-McCormick. Here's the kicker: It's going to recount though, so we won't know until that's finished.
