Very doubtful. I’ve played Cyber Punk on my PS5. Wasn’t impressed and it wasn’t because of the graphics or performance. The game is stupid af.

I guess I'm stupid af. I've gone back to play Cyberpunk multiple times after beating it, I just started a new character last night. Starfield on the other hand, I gave that up after 10 hours. It bored me tears.

  2. This helps me speed up my repayment time, my remaining student loan is now/will be 18k. I should be able to finish paying this off in 5 years. My wife will be fine as she will or at least should be able to get her loans forgiven with the public service loan forgiveness program. But something needs to be done after this goes through. I'm guessing the 5% cap on the IBR is going to help with this but in general tuition is too high and interest rate on student loans is nuts. Before all of this, my wife for example finished grad school and had a total 100k in student loans. 9 years later, with IBR at a recent $500+/month, her balance is now around 110k. That's insane.

Also, I am seriously shocked and amazed at how selfish and stupid people are by being upset that their fellow friends, neighbors and American's are getting relief. Even if I had zero student loan debt, I would still be happy that others aren't getting fucked in the ass with high student loan payments. I mean, before the pause, our combined student loan is almost $850/month which is fat chunk and that can easily set lower income folks even further back.

  3. That's seriously been so depressing. Our plan last year was to buy around this time right now, maybe towards end of the year. Despite growing salaries between my wife and I, we haven't been able to keep up with housing prices and now the rising rates pushing that even further. Who knows what the next few years will be like. And my wife would rather stay in California, so even higher prices, tougher outlook. :/

Are you going to throw your sister's boyfriend into a volcano?

Yes, actually my wife was the first to show anger over this because she and her mom were together on Sunday after we were exposed, the next day her mom had surgery early in the morning and was a nervous wreck all day scared... it didn't help her being traumatized by the death of her aunt a year ago due to covid.

  5. My sister's boyfriend (unvaccinated) tested positive Monday morning. My sister and my other sister tested positive yesterday. My mom, brother and two nieces (2 yrs and 5 yrs old, both unvaccinated) are all stuck in the same apartment trying their best to quarantine. My wife and I were in close proximity to my sister's bf on Sunday, who was suspecting of it being covid at that time but didn't say a damn word. We tested immediately because of panic and that came back negative, but we're going back for a second covid test tomorrow morning. In the last couple hours I've started feeling body aches a little... I'm hoping that's just anxiety doing me in.

3 cousins, 2 aunts, and supposedly even my aunt's dog tested covid positive this week.

For almost two years we've avoided this shit and it's started to hit us all here.

  6. I was driving around the east bay yesterday doing some last min errands and visiting my nieces... Might sound contradictory but the rain was not that bad in my area. Visibility was somewhat low to moderate and there was localized flooding in all the usual spots but overall not as bad as I'm seeing other people making it seem, in my local area. There's a clip floating around of a big rig with an empty trailer that got blown around on one of the bridges in the north bay i believe, that must've been scary for the driver and the people/cars in it's path.

  7. Well, we're maybe leaving California. In our area, homes are ridiculously expensive and anything within our comfortable price range are run down turds that would need thousands upon thousands to get to decent shape... having $3.5-4k or more mortgage a month for that is ridiculous. My wife and I have been constantly flip flopping for a couple of months between LA because it's ever so slightly cheaper but still near family OR moving out of state to Dallas (surrounding cities, looking at Garland and Richardson at the moment) because it's still really affordable even after adjusting for salary... basically stay near family or more financial freedom. Obviously other pros and cons but those are our main points. While we decide, we're just aggressively saving and paying off debts.

Why can’t you fuckers move to the Midwest? Pussies

Places we looked at and liked initially have snow, I don't want to deal with snow.

  8. My family are catholic, with a few that also practice jehova's witnesses or however you say that or call them but still consider themselves catholic.

I was raised catholic as a kid, went to sunday school, church on occasion, baptized and confirmation but not the third step or something like that. I'm really NOT versed in what is involved... clearly I did not pay attention. Then in my early teens I drifted away from that. Considered myself agnostic for a while, sometimes kind of flip flopping atheist depending on my mood or who is pissing me off lol... My family hates me for that though. Anytime there's an event and we go to church for it, I go in respect to them but I sit as far back as possible because I don't know the customs or anything, plus I don't feel I need to do it but also don't want eyes on me and getting judged lol.

My wife is mostly the same situation but she's more spiritual than anything.

  9. So I got vaccinated today through Kaiser... I saw that there was an e-Visit/questionnaire to check eligibility last Friday night, I put down that I was in education then it asked for a code provided by my employer. I selected the option that I didn't have one. The next morning, I got an email saying I can schedule my covid shot. Today was the earliest appointment available. I went in nervous but took my old work badge just in case for "proof." No questions AT ALL and I proceeded to get my shot (Pfizer). I kind of feel bad about it but at the same time I don't care as I'd rather not keep risking getting sick and dying.

My last post above. I guess I'll use my old work badge then.

Also, my wife was just telling me about an article saying that one of the covid vaccination sites in Santa Clara County (CA) accidentally administered the wrong dosage for the Pfizer shot, an estimated 4000+ got less than they should have for their first shot.

    Actually Alameda County:

Thousands of people at the Oakland Coliseum received the wrong dosage of Pfizer vaccine on Monday because of an orange-capped syringe. But the problem has been fixed and state officials said there's no reason to panic.

I read about how UPMC - one of (if not the) biggest health system in the state, and doubtlessly its biggest vaccine recipient, has been vaccinating all of its employees (even those who do not interact with patients or health care workers) ahead of the general public, so I’ve gone full Joker and will now lie and cheat my way into a vaccine ASAP. If a billion dollar healthcare giant isn’t going to follow to rules than neither will I.
