The video is horrific. Do not watch it. Do not share it. He live-streamed it. On a GoPro.
I would expect 50+ dead. The 28 year old shooter also posted a manifesto and video blogs online prior to the shooting.
Yeah. I did not follow this advice. I'd like a do-over please.
For all the normal things we can say in the wake of these things, the thing I'm most surprised by is in regards to the video. It truly looks like an FPS. Like something out of Call of Duty or something.
The guy that did it was peppering his actions with edgy attempts at humor too. As he walked in to the mosque, you could hear "The British Grenadiers" in the background.
This dude was fucking sick. And this same sickness is allowed to gestate and spread in places like 4chan, 8chan (where he did it), twitter, and other places. He shared a bunch of garbage about declining white birth rates all over the world on his twitter...
And this same racist bullshit it being spread by a not insignificant number of world leaders, including our own.

This will have implications for North Korea. An IRBM based in Guam would be able to cover all of North Korea. A conventionally armed IRBM would lead the North Koreans to likely reevaluate their position in regards to a first strike.

I've really lost faith in the airlines over this. Grounding them is the right decision.

Boeing are going to update their software on the Max 8s.

China and Ethiopia also ground their MAX 8 fleets.

Stocks crash (not trying to be funny, it's just the best word I could use):
Whose stocks are these?

The recently acquired aircraft was the same Boeing 737 Max 8 model involved in the crash of an Indonesian aircraft in October.
This isn't looking good for the Max 8...

I adored the most recent episode.
The scripted/constructed road trips are really wearing thin for me.

There’s a difference between genuine transphobia and those who mean well but are still learning how to talk about this issue in a more sensitive manner. Let’s learn to be more forgiving of the later.
None of the latter is happening here.

Just consider to be preparation for the big, dull thud that will accompany the landing of the Mueller report.
Hasn't "The Mueller Report" been pretty much revealed to the public through legal filings? And won't it continue to be?

Fuck Ellis.
This is NOT what I anticipated.

I'm never going to get sick of seeing these first stage landings. The roar of the mission control crowd when it touches down is just perfect.

Ted Lieu is an idiot and this "request" was never going to be something that happened anyway. Plus, we kinda already have this information. Actual wisdom from an expert is better than twitter polemics from a politician:

All of these points are objectively good and are welcome.
I'd love to see a complete halt to missile tests too.

This is incredible.

Yeah, I didn't even bother with the third season at all. It really lost steam for me. I can't remember a thing about any of the characters.

It's very possible they have the votes to kill Obergefell if they get a case back to SCOTUS.
This is why.

Yeah, there's a push for these things again now that there's a new governor who is more into forcing a SCOTUS challenge. The previous governor wasn't into it so he didn't support legislation.
-
Are Northam's people doing that?
Or is this a concerted effort by other groups? Could all of this be coming from GOP circles?

Given that some of the depression i've been feeling in the last few days has been due to despair at the state of the world, this just means I'm going to go to bed sad.
