Oh yeah, we did finish this the other night. 10/10, just about as perfect as you can get. It really did the book justice. Even better with how it portrayed Japanese culture.

Thank you. It really sucks. He was only 44 and we dont yet know what happened. His mom found him in his recliner at home after he didn’t answer his phone all day. And it was my husband’s 40th birthday when it happened.

I think I’m gonna start Persona 5 Tactica today on my Steam Deck. I’m down with my in-laws for a handful of days, on bereavement from work, my brother-in-law died unexpectedly on Sunday. Not a whole lot going on outside of services, but husband wants to be with his parents and I’m here for him. But I did bring my Switch and Deck to occupy my time. 

Reading has been slow for me lately. But I started Hello Beautiful by Ann Napolitano. 

I’m glad gambling never appealed to me. I’ve never tried it once. I figure if I lost even $20, I’d be like “man, I coulda bought a new book with that.”

Got my first tattoo. It went well and I’m really happy with it.

Watched 5 episodes yesterday and we both love it. It’s pretty close to the book but does soften some characters and the pacing is good. 
 

Sucks because I now start a long stretch so it’ll be a bit before we can get back to it. 

Maybe an hour at most if I put myself in gear. I don't do the makeup and hair. If I need to get ready to go somewhere, I just blow dry it and run a brush through it and I'm good.

Boston just placed Brayan Bello on the IL with lat tightness. Rotation was such a bright spot early on, now 3/5 starters are on the IL. Not to mention all the position players who have went down already.
