GotG is my game of the year :P

Haven't poured that much time into a game in quote some time. Bought it day one and glad I did....had it beat within a week, and i'm notorious for not finishing games, lol.

I think I saw Wishlists being mentioned as well as lacking, but I don't think Microsoft has it either.  I had never realized that helps get them exposure on Steam, good to know.  I always kinda wondered what it was there for.  Would always think to myself, "Do these people just expect people to gift this game to them".

Pretty sure MS has had wishlists since they did the marketplace revamp earlier this year or late last year, can't remember.

Though after I add something I typically forget about it

Lot's of things at MS changed with Big Papa Phil in charge of Xbox

Nice to have a gamer in charge of gaming. Not sure I believe him that he has no bigger job aspirations, but it's a nice thought.

Can now play xCloud on browsers at Xbox.com/play and all servers running on Series X hardware.

Just pulled this up on my work PC for shits and giggles, but damn didn't expect it to load MLB The Show in quite like that.

Wasn't sure what to expect, but not just like i'm on my console, lol

Was skeptical, but now hunting for a controller!

Microsoft is pouring more money into games not only through acquisitions but also setting up a new studio.  More money is going to Indie Devs to fill out the Game Pass library. This is having a knock on effect where Sony is funding new studios like Jade Redmond and the one announced at Summer Game Fest.  There is too many games at this point. I love it and hate it. 
 

I think Game Pass is dope as hell. Legitimately there are so many games I have downloaded that I want to try out. If Microsoft wants to spend billions to give me games at a low price? Ok thanks bud. It makes no sense why anyone would be upset by a sub service. You can still buy those games as people evidently do based on dev interviews. 

 

Plus I think you will see a consolation of streaming services on the tv side.  The smaller services will go back to licensing their stuff. 

Seriously, I'm deleting and downloading games every few days.

Need a new HDD!

Gamepass will not look like it does not in 5 years, everyone knows that. But will it look like Amazon that rules the world, or will it look like Netflix that spawned branches and competing products.

All I know is I'm getting all my gaming in with access to hundreds of games and Day 1 releases for only $9.99/month as well as a special offer of 3 months for only $1 for new subscribers!!

It got me to check out that new Stamos show too - Big Shot. Glad to see him with a new job

Server issues are really bad. Joined a custom league and the servers are ALWAYS down...played 1 game in the last week because of how often they're down. Only Diamond Dynasty seems to stay available more consistently, but it should as it's the money maker...but even then it has frequent drops

Game is nice to look at, fun as hell, and RTTS and Diamond Dynasty are huge time sinks.

Only complaints would be, and they are minor:

 - Server/network connection issues. Get dropped sometimes and lose progress with challenges

 - Loading can be slow going between menus

 - Lots of stuff to do which is great, but I waste a lot of time looking for them in the menus

Its a small list, but the loading is very noticeable when you are looking at lots of cards or flipping between teams

Well....the greatest trick the devil ever pulled, was convincing the world he didn't exist
