This is the future, where all losing GOP candidates refuse to acknowledge they have lost:
Trumpy Georgia Gov. Candidate Who Got 3% of the Vote Refuses to Concede
HILLREPORTER.COMWith his actions following the 2020 election, Donald Trump set the new standard for Republican candidates. No matter how much you lose by, just claim that the vote was rigged. Kandiss Taylor ran in the Governor’s primary in Georgia with the platform; Jesus, Guns, Babies. Her message didn’t resonate with voters and Taylor only received…She belongs in federal prison solely for the spelling of her name. What the fuck.

I think the confrontation with the Air Force Captain is really illustrative of Jimmy’s character and how he views himself: “Always on a high horse always trying to make me feel like I’m..” It’s like he is a character in a Greek tragedy, someone who is a good lawyer, a hard worker, someone who can do and act right, but someone who will always be seen as scum, untrustworthy and low scum. And that’s why Jimmy becomes Saul—everyone treats him like Saul, so might as well become Saul.

Whew I'm finally all caught up. This show is just one of the best of all time. I'm really going to miss the quality filmmaking that went into it. Loved the shot when the camera was attached to the garage door. Clever creative shit like that doesn't come around too often.
I want to see the actor who plays Lalo playing a Bond villain. That guy is just terrifying.
My theory for Kim is that she moves to Omaha, and when the timeline finally catches up, Gene gets in contact with Kim Wexler, Underworld Queen of Omaha.

If it wasn't for the "older-older brother" part it almost sounds like one of the many retellings of the story of the Sager children. I'm going to dig around. If you can recall any other details let me know.
That was the first thing that came to my mind too. I had to read Seven Alone in elementary school.

What happened to all those cops with the Punisher logo tattoos? Did they trade them in for Shaggy from Scooby-Doo tattoos?
Shaggy at least helps to solve crimes. When have cops ever done that?

My wife wants to move to America someday, and the biggest reason I'm iffy on it is I'm terrified to put my daughter into an American school. Korea has a billion problems of its own, but guess what? Children come home from school alive.

Sandy Hook has already shown nothing will be done about this no matter how many kids are kills. They got their Supreme Court justices. Texas gun laws are about to go national.
I've had this bookmarked since Sandy Hook and have posted it probably at least 10 times:
Our Moloch | Garry Wills | The New York Review of Books
WWW.NYBOOKS.COMThe gun is our Moloch. We sacrifice children to him daily—sometimes, as at Sandy Hook, by directly throwing them into the fire-hose of bullets from our protected private killing machines, sometimes by blighting our children’s lives by the death of a parent, a schoolmate, a teacher, a protector. The gun is not a mere tool, a bit of technology, a political issue, a point of debate. It is an object of reverence.QuoteAncient Romans justified the destruction of Carthage by noting that children were sacrificed to Moloch there. Milton represented Moloch as the first pagan god who joined Satan’s war on humankind:
First Moloch, horrid king, besmear’d with blood
Of human sacrifice, and parents’ tears,
Though for the noise of Drums and Timbrels loud
Their children’s cries unheard, that pass’d through fire
To his grim idol. (Paradise Lost 1.392-96)Read again those lines, with recent images seared into our brains—“besmeared with blood” and “parents’ tears.” They give the real meaning of what happened at Sandy Hook Elementary School Friday morning. That horror cannot be blamed just on one unhinged person. It was the sacrifice we as a culture made, and continually make, to our demonic god. We guarantee that crazed man after crazed man will have a flood of killing power readily supplied him. We have to make that offering, out of devotion to our Moloch, our god. The gun is our Moloch. We sacrifice children to him daily—sometimes, as at Sandy Hook, by directly throwing them into the fire-hose of bullets from our protected private killing machines, sometimes by blighting our children’s lives by the death of a parent, a schoolmate, a teacher, a protector. Sometimes this is done by mass killings (eight this year), sometimes by private offerings to the god (thousands this year).

I don't know how ANYONE can deny that we have a crisis of policing in this country. Do police prevent crimes? No. Do they solve crimes? No. Do they offer any sort of usefulness at all? Absolutely not. Are they a drain on resources? Yes. Do they prevent us from actually using our resources to benefit cities and people? Yes. The only thing you can count on the police to reliably do is to shot unarmed and innocent people.
