"Five Nights at Freddy's" creator Scott Cawthon has recently announced his retirement from game development
WWW.NEWSWEEK.COMIn the wake of personal controversies surrounding Scott Cawthon, the "Five Nights at Freddy's Developer" has posted an official retirement message on his website.I'm not saying what Cawthon did was right, but I can't believe people are surprised that a guy who, from what I've heard, is a devout Christian, leans right politically. These people know he made Christian games before FNAF, right?

Near - Google Docs
DOCS.GOOGLE.COMAt 11:45 on Sunday, I was on a phone call with Near. They’d just taken a large overdose of codeine and guanfancine. I saw a photo of the noose. 30 minutes into the call, Les Voyages De L'âme by Alcest started playing at the other end. I wouldn’t hear their voice again. “Near took their own lif...Fuck KiwiFarms.

Good news, ERCOT says the grid conditions are back to normal.
Electric Reliability Council of Texas
WWW.ERCOT.COMThe Electric Reliability Council of Texas operates the electric grid and manages the deregulated market for 75 percent of the state. -
What do you consider the best region of the US? The worst?

Again, how likely is it that power goes out? I'm pretty worried about this ERCOT thing.
This article says that ERCOT says that it's "unlikely" that they'll need to implement outages, but what ERCOT says, and what happens are two very different things.

Texans Asked To Conserve Energy As Main Power Grid Struggles To Keep Up | HuffPost
WWW.HUFFPOST.COMGrid operator ERCOT came under fire earlier this year for dangerous power outages that left millions without electricity and hundreds dead.QuoteTexas’ main power grid struggled to keep up with the demand for electricity Monday, prompting the operator to ask Texans to conserve power until Friday.
The Electric Reliability Council of Texas said in a statement Monday that a significant number of unexpected power plant outages combined with expected record use of electricity due to hot weather has resulted in tight grid conditions. Approximately 12,000 megawatts of generation were offline Monday, or enough to power 2.4 million homes on a hot summer day.
ERCOT officials said the power plant outages were unexpected — and could not provide details as to what could be causing them. Here we go again...

We got any Muppets fans here? I've recently started watching The Muppet Show, and I've been hooked.
-
My computer has holes on the side where I can see the inside of the case, and I don't see any abnormalities in the fan.
-
It's more like a buzzing/whirring sound, and it lasts for a second at most.
-
Heard a buzzing noise when I turned on my computer, so turned it off and on several times.
Pretty sure it's not the HDD, because my computer has an SSD.
Computer's barely a month old. There's no way something's wrong with it already.
Heard the buzzing noise again today and the other day.
I don't know if I'm just not used to the differences between my new computer and my old computer that I had for 7-8 years. I'm not used to there being less of a delay between when you press the power button and when the computer turns on, for example.Heard the buzzing again today and the other day.
Not sure it's the fan either, because my fan is pretty quiet to the point where I barely hear it. -

I loved near the airport in Orlando actually. Basically where The Florida Project was filmed.
But seriously, what made it bad?

I'm a city boy I guess and didn't understand what I was getting myself into. Hard to summarize without launching into a book-length tirade. Are you looking to move to FL? From where?
No, just curious.
I'm guessing where you were in Florida wasn't a city? -

I went from NY to Florida once and had to stay for a few years until I was able to come back. It was fucking horrible and felt like the asshole and the toilet of America combined.
What was bad about it?

^ Where you from?

Northerners who moved south, what was your experience?

It's been almost a month since I made this thread, and the power supply hasn't died.
It should be fine?

Posting this topic here, because I heard I'd get better responses.
I recently bought a new computer. https://www.amazon.com/Acer-TC-895-UA92-i5-10400-Processor-802-11ax/dp/B088X2YR3X
I found out that this computer has a proprietary PSU, which can't be replaced easily.
Should I be worried about the power supply?

I got this computer today. Is it any good? Anyone have any experience with Acer computers? I plan on using it to surf the web and watch streams.
I ask because I've heard of Acer products breaking soon after purchase, and I've heard horror stories about Acer's customer service.

If you don't feel like building your own computer and would rather get a prebuilt, What are the best major computer brands? The worst?
-
I figured, "is it really worth it to put in a new hard drive or an SSD in a 7-8 year old computer?".
-
Bought a new computer yesterday because my current computer says 100% disk usage, and I'm paranoid that it's dying.
But my computer's actually doing well right now, so I'm having second thoughts. But lots of people buy new phones or computers they don't really need, right?
Worried about my dog.

Good news! My dog's biopsy came back, and it said her blood was in excellent shape, and her kidneys were good!
