  1. I honestly don't think it matters how much NATO members spend, unless one of them ramps up spending into the hundreds of billions a year, otherwise i just can't imagine a scenario where it works without the US spearheading the whole thing.  By the time article 5 is declared and agreed upon whoever declared the article 5 would be toast let alone mobilization of multiple European militaries.

  2. The GDP thing is kinda silly, while Germany is spending like half of what its supposed to, its still 4th in overall military spending, while a country like Greece is hitting its requirement but is spending a fraction of what Germany is spending, and is still below Germany's per capita spending.  Its not crazy to ask Germany to spend more seeing they're one of the larger NATO nations, but its insane to threaten to abandon all of them if they don't.

Well then Sony is at double fault because they won't allow cross play and The Last of Us 2 on Xbox :p

On a serious note I'm pretty sure PUBG once out of game preview it will definitely be on PS4. But I'm also pretty sure Sony still won't allow cross play when that happens. Cross play may not seem like a big deal to you but there is something about being able to play a game with friends you normally couldn't. At least in your comfort zone. I play on console cuz that's what I prefere but I'm glad I can play games with people who dont want to or can't on PC. Its one less thing to worry about.

Its a guarantee they won't, they do it on fortnite, if an Xbox player or PS4 player is on your squad you can not invite someone from the other console, you're locked into only PC/PS4 or PC/Xbox cause Sony refuses to allow it.

Well, you can't just erase the three electoral votes  that the district receives.  Either you'll need another amendment to nullify the 23rd amendment, or you'll have 3 electors who are beholden to no state/district, and will vote how they so choose.

I really don't see this being that difficult, they're assigned to the district the district no longer exists so there's no one to assign the electors, so they will just disappear, also states must all be treated equally as far as I know.

  5. US intelligence believes they've increased fuel production.

    https://www.nbcnews.com/news/north-korea/north-korea-has-increased-nuclear-production-secret-sites-say-u-n887926

U.S. intelligence agencies believe that North Korea has increased its production of fuel for nuclear weapons at multiple secret sites in recent months — and that Kim Jong Un may try to hide those facilities as he seeks more concessions in nuclear talks with the Trump administration, U.S. officials told NBC News.

While the North Koreans have stopped missile and nuclear tests, "there's no evidence that they are decreasing stockpiles, or that they have stopped their production," said one U.S. official briefed on the latest intelligence. "There is absolutely unequivocal evidence that they are trying to deceive the U.S."

  6. So much for the tax cuts saving the midterms for the GOP, its getting less popular as time goes on, Womp Womp.

American families are unsure whether they are benefiting from the tax cut, and small businesses say they are confused by the complex changes affecting them. A recent poll from Monmouth University found 34 percent of adults approve of the tax cut now, a slide from January when adults were about evenly split between approving and disapproving. And about a third of families say they are better off because of the cuts, according to polls by Politico and the New York Times.

A federal judge ruled that the Trump administration acted in an “arbitrary and capricious” manner when federal officials approved Kentucky’s first-in-the-nation requirement that low-income people work or otherwise engage in their communities to qualify for the safety-net health insurance.

The decision by U.S. District Judge James E. Boasberg vacates that approval and sends the state’s proposal back to the Department of Health and Human Services for further review.

His action stems from a lawsuit filed in January by three organizations opposed to the profound changes in the insurance program for the poor. Since then, the administration has granted three more states permission to impose similar requirements.

  8. lol, Illinois GOP couldn't even manage to find a 3rd party candidate, also Ted Cruz telling people to vote democrat must hurt.

McSweeney’s comments come just days after the filing deadline passed for qualifying a third-party candidate for the general election — which could have provided a safe harbor for Illinois Republican votes. Prior to that, the party had also failed to recruit a candidate to challenge Jones in the primary election, failed to knock him off the primary ballot and wasn’t able to field a write-in candidate against him in the primary.

  9. lol....

The whole thing is ridiculous. Melendez, the host, had three different interactions with two White House operators and got through two call screens before Jared Kushner called him from Air Force One. According to Melendez, Kushner asked if he wanted to talk to the president then or have them call him back later, which is what he did.

The details: When the White House operator calls back, he says: "Hello is this Sen. Menendez?" and then "Hello is this Air Force One?"

    • President Trump picked up the phone congratulating who he thought was Sen. Menendez and telling him he "went through a very tough situation."
    • He also talked about immigration. "Bob, let me just tell you I want to be able to take care of the situation every bit as much as anybody else at the top level. I'd rather do the larger solution rather than the smaller solution."
    • He said the North Dakota Senate race is "a tough race."
    • Regarding his SCOTUS nominee, he said they'll be done making a decision in 12 to 14 days.

The White House didn't respond to requests for comment.
