Oh please try and run this messaging. I beg you:

Imagine trying to tell anyone but the base that they’re better than they were during a PANDEMIC.

Now I’ve gotten the hang of Synergy abilities and the quick moves.

My ONLY complaint is the notches that tell you how many ATB moves you need from each character are a little hard to see at times so I struggle to tell if I need four or five sometimes.

Holy shit. That was EXTREMELY helpful. I was using the ones you do by pressing R1, but I was wondering about the abilities and how to actually activate them, which you explained way better than the game did.

Some notes though: first, Aerith and Tifa will just have more opportunities so they're going to be the default if you're doing everyone right. Second, there are specific non-dialog moments where you must choose someone over the other which can lead to a tie breaker. Third, an additional tie breaker is how much you use synergy skills and abilities with each character.

 

So you should be able to do everyone well and still have a preferred person.

I’m actually curious who he picks. He wants to be the center of attention so he has to pick someone boring that won’t overshadow him, but at the same time be a big deal.
