  1. UPDATE:

This really has been an incredible experience. I have been wanting an electric high performance eBike for about 2 years now. We finally pulled the trigger on this crazy thing and it's really fantastic. I have logged in over 200 miles now enough to do the first maintence procedure of changing out the gear oil @150 miles, Doesn't need it a gain for 650 miles after the first "Break in change"  This thing is crazy fast, 26mph in "Eco mode" & a blistering 48mph in "Sport mode" Power in instantaneous and feels like 65mph. It's got great torche and just is overall extremely fun. Gets crazy looks from passer'byers but it's me doing the passing by! In sport you really need to be ready if you gun it as the wheel will come up even when leaning forward! I have never ridden anything remotely like this. Plan is for this one to me my wifes and I'll be buying a Sur-ron Ultra Bee next after we save up a few more months as we just paid this one off. The Talaria Sting R isn't cheap @$4500 but it delivers in built quality and "That Rush" that a 8000Watt / 60V Motor should provide!!! For reference, Legal eBike laws on the road are 750watt / 20Mph maximum without needing registration, signals, brake lights, etc. This is "Just a bit more than that" LOL

I’ve been bouncing around a lot the couple weeks, but now I’m fully locked in on Remnant 2.

Really wanting this one, but buying Baldur's Gate 3 today and with Starfield just around the corner it make no sense. It's already sub $40 on CD keys not that it's a money issue but still want it.

As for "What am I playing"  I've been having a shit ton of fun playing Outbreak solo zombies in CoD: Black ops cold war. I haven't bought a Cod Game now in well over 6 years and I won't. That said it was a "Freebie'ish" through PS+ Premium and I thought I'd try it. It was a 240+ gig download on the PS5. I ended up uninstalling the Campaign though might revisit it down this road. The amount of Gameplay on this is INSANE! I'm not even sure if this is one game or two games packaged as one? Meaning did it ship CoD: Black Ops Cold War? or are they selling two titles together now? I enjoy playing multiplayer w/ bots, but Zombies are great. A single game of Outbreak solo :"Forget the mode, it's the 3rd option for Outbreak though" can be well into the 3 hours! I'm really liking the gunplay as I always have, and am loving all the maps and modes. Last CoD game I bought was Black ops 3 and I still was playing a zombie match here and there on the Series X until this year or so. Then about a month ago I found this one on PS= and am glad I gave it a try even though it was EASSILY the biggest download I have ever seen!

Would love to play some Outbreak with a couple friends if any of you play it. I tried a few games with randos but they all just play so haphazardly with no co-op in mind at all. It's frustrating and is what I remembered back when I cared. I don't play online team Deathmatch simply because I'm just not good enough.

The response from some devs on this game was really fuckin weird. The idea that some of these studios don’t have the same resources that Larian had is absurd. It should be a wake up call to publishers that if you give a talented team the resources and leave them the hell alone and stop trying to squeeze every penny from your customers, incredible experiences (and profitable ones) are possible.

As for you @HardAct, you should just get the game. If it’s not like a budgetary thing just buy it. It’s an amazing game and it deserves to be rewarded.

    Yea,

I'm buying it this weekend as I want to support the devs. I do hate spending these launch prices but money is not an issue I just have so many AAA games to still play as it is. Even games like Divinity II, Tyranny, Pillars of Eternity and Torment: Tides of Numenera. Looking forward to it alot!

Oh don't get it now, there's a patch coming that's gonna fix 1000 things!!

That's crazy, this game from what I have heard / read it's really stable, very little bugs. Really a testament in the era of ship it and fix it later age, this game is really impressive. Also zero monetization a unicorn in these days. Sad that this is a anomaly but it's nice to hear. The story's really supposed to be great and .......OK! I'll stop, it's good from what I hear is all....

  6.    I've been doing so much better not buying games at launch but really the only reason is Gamepass and PS+ Ultimate. Everytime I go see what's new there is a game there "Free'ish" that I have had in my want to play list or even ones I have bought day one and have yet to open let alone actually play! Complaining aside Baldur's Gate 3 is really one I want Baldur's Gate III. I'm a huge fan of the first two and Neverwinter Nights, etc. It's been along time but they were very influential in my early PC RPG's. The reviews are ALL GREAT and I have heard NOTHING bad about it. Hell the length is like 80-100 hours! Crazy. Also finding myself wanting Remnant II but pretty sure that i'll be able to grab that one for sub $20 soon enough. It's already $37 on CD Keys.

Anyone here got any reason to not get this game now and enjoy it while supporting the Devs on releasing a game that checks all the boxes?

I started playing Vampire Survivors on my Steam Deck today. Before I knew it, 3 hours had gone by.

The sign of an addictive game, I guess. :daydream:

If you liked that, give Halls of Torment a try it's much better IMO and i LOVED Vampire Survivor if that means / say anything to you.....

I actually played all of the opening of Days Gone. It runs beautifully on PS5 and it still looks very solid. It has all the ingredients for a fantastic game but it just kinda burns out to a 7.5 type game.

But they have the mechanics down including phenomenal motorcycle controls. It's definitely a fun game to revisit.

Gets ULTRA repetitive and boring in less that 10 hours into it though. At the start if feels like a AAA / 9/10 game, but that fades way to quickly. Keeping ones mind engaged in these type games in the hardest part. Just a shame as it did have potential 'll give it that!

  9.    Taking a break from Halls of Torment this week after putting in over 20hrs into it and am playing Tunic on Series X! Pretty great and one I have been looking forward to for some time now. I'm about 8hrs in and really enjoying it ALOT! This game is In the "Souls like" catagory. Its quite cartoon like, but this a real test and Is rewarding too. I'm really Liking Tunic 9 out if 10

I gotta hand it to Ratchet and Clank, as the game pretty much plays out like a Pixar movie

Wow tough question but a good question. The very best visuals on PS5 so far imo is Gran Turismo 7. The cars are fucking unbelievable.

Currently downloading Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart so that could change!

Talking "Just pure fidelity" it's pretty easy GT7 or Ratchet & Clank: A Rift Apart. Many "GOOD" looking games for sure but these two are the best of the best!

All y'all are always @ me about pricey things, but I'm still proudly rocking a LG C9! :sun:

Ryan McCaffrey at @IGN.com { Just say'in this because even 5 years+ LG series TV's hold their own against newer Versions } has an LGC9 and he plays Videogames for a living! The LGC series are just incredible TV's. I was so happy bit the bullet and upgraded my Samsung Q8FN in my gaming room to a LGCX and my Samsung NU8000 to dream LGC1 83" TV! These TV's drop in price fairly quickly and TV's like the LGC1 65" can be found for sub $1500 and that's a stunning TV for the price. I really wish I had gone with the LGCX 77" in the Gameroom but it's that sacrifice that allowed me to get the 83" C1 for the Home Theater room!

Side note: Just had a few friends over for a BBQ and some alcohol { LOL...some! } and then watched John Wick 4 HD Bluray and It was an amazing ACTION experience. I bought it day one HD Bluray but hadn't seen it yet. Though I'm WAY WAY a bigger sound neard than picture/graphics this movie's Atmos mix was pretty HOUSE rumbling. These TV's deliver the specs for your dollar. Ever since the LGCX {Maybe C9 does too?} was rocking 4 HDMI 2.1 ports when the entire industry was skimping on this feature with Maybe 1, I went to The LC side over My then preference of Samsung. I'm sure Sony's outings are great but are always over priced to me when holding back on things like ALL Ports supporting 2.1. Can't go wrong with any LGCseries TV from C9-now

  12.    My bike is scheduled for delivery TODAY by 5pm!! I just realized I don't have a Helmet. I think I might need one with the monster. This isn't my grandkids little scooter this could kill someone. WHAT HAVE I DONE?! I don't want to be killed.

  13.     I kinda don't recommend it really as I now don't play anything else...lol Last night I unlocked the sorceress {Last character to be unlocked} and I have beaten the first 2 of three levels with every character! The third lvl of three is by far the hardest and I have made it to the last boss many times but failed. Still in process LVL up the starting stats and there's a few pieces of equipment that have proven really tough to find. Maybe after unlocking the last character the last equipement is able to be randomly dropped, I don't know but it's a very addicting game. I have not at least 50 AAA games of the last 3-5 years I am unable to even start because of my new found love of these smaller yet just as rewarding games. It;s the Steamdeck and the ROGAlly that have really stifled my gaming as a whole. At least the large 20-60hour endeavors. It's a VERY different game than VS too in really great ways. Anyway my two cents and I have another 10 hours easily I'd say and I do not care. I'd say buy it while it's so cheap it really really is worth it!

  14.     I REALLY LIKE VAMPIRE SURVIVOR,  put a lot of hours into it. Easily my most played game this year. So....VS and now HALLS of Torment has taken everything I loved about VS and takes it way way up a few notches or turned up to 11!

It's just so great on both the Steamdeck & The ROG Ally. Sucks in that I have not now played ANYTHING on the Series X or PS5 for most of this year. I have really dialed back my gaming on console and moved more to the two handhelds.

I will say in the later game playthroughs with many gear and Stat upgrades the chaos really slows down the Steamdeck. The ROG Ally handles it easily though eats ghe battery quickly!

If you haven't played Halls of Torment and at all liked Vampire Survivors do yourself a favor and check it out!

So true. The WNBA is so fuckin embarrassing.

They still are ballers! Sucks that they will never gain the viewership that the men do but that's just life. I'm sure male swimsuit competitions also don't get the viewership that the women do....;)

  16.   Not sure where to properly post this and I'm sure I'll be shown where but I wanted to ask you guys/gals if you have any experience with eBikes at all. Not sure how or why I got web surfed late at night on the 16th {July} to some ebike forums on Reddit and while spiraling down the eBike rabbit hole accidently bought a Luna Tarlaria Sting R eBike...lol OOOOPS, still haven't brought this up to the wife, not that I'm hiding it at all, just timing doesn't quite feel right Happy I Love You GIF by pikaole Anyway I did just buy here some flowers and some really quite expensive {OVER 2k} Ruby heart shaped earrings {NOT because of the eBike}, and she even asked "WHAT DID YOU DO" :D. Really excited to check this thing out, and also a bit nervous. I stopped riding over 7 years ago. Sold by Harley and both my Dirt bikes because they weren't getting any ride time after I blew my back out. 3 surgeries later I just have not been the same and deal with quite a bit of chronic pain. I saw these though and thought I could get this and putt putt around {PUTT AROUND...lol Yea right These are quick with a 50+ mileage range and top speed of near 50mph} Anyway, looks like it's going to be here by monday, maybe even saturday. Any experience and / or thoughts?

Get whatever you can afford and not feel bad about the better thing coming along next year 😂

    THIS!!

I bought my LGC1 83" almost 2 years ago and it was over $4700 bucks. The no tax here in oregon helped with the decision along with the BB Rewards certificates totalling $200. Get what you can afford, we are in total awe all the time watching hd blu-rays-just HD TV. They are INCREDIBLE pictures and the Gaming tech built in is the toping on the cake. Just great TV's. Crazy to know mine is almost 2 years old already ;)

Also mine is in a pretty bright room too and it's really stunning even in mid day with a window directly adjacent to it. We have blackout curtains in the living room but up hi is a halfmoon shaped window with a sill with 5 huge fern on it. The tv is mounted 3 feet up on the wall {bottom of the tv} tilted at an slight angle that totally removes the window from the screen with no reflection. Without the tilt it would have been pretty comical staring at the window!! It all worked out as I had it pictured along with the 7.2.4 all SVS Dolby atmos surround system that pounds the room when needed :D

Yeah I think the 24000 anker also does like 75watt or something - that was the thing I realized when looking for an external battery, you want to make sure it can actually put out the 30watt at least so you can play it full blast while plugged in. The anker looked more reasonable in size, didn’t realize exactly how big this was but damn does it do the job power wise lol.

Seems to get pretty warm what playing a taxing game plugged in at 30watts and charging the devise. It does not get uncomfortable to hold though and will charge while playing maxed out.

I have a this Baseaus 65W / 30000 mAH power brick I bought for the Steam deck. Works great on the ROG Ally too and wasn't a wallet killer at around $70 either! It's kinda bulky and does have some heft to it !

Also handles my wifes Samsung Galaxy Tab 10" tablet and my MSI GS65 STEALTH laptop w/ a i7 & 1070 no problems.
