I'm good with Drunken Noodles, make that shit hot, with some chicken. Also, why does a the menu at a Chinese restaurant look like a bingo card? "Can I get the F54 and a C25?" What is that? Is this to help white people order without trying to say the word for 5 minutes?

You sound like such a white ass boomer lmao

I don't think we really even have them here. Just a bunch of different local places run by people that always tell you your order will be ready in 10 minute.

Oh I see a few that are a like a mile from here. I don't think I've ever even noticed them. The only chain place I know of, and avoid, is Pei Wei and PF Chang, neither of which are what I'd call Chinese.

Most Chinese food I've had has been too sweet or too salty, or somehow both, for my taste.

And what's with all the frying? Why does General Tso like 19 inches of batter on his chicken? Stop the madness.

    Try Sichuan.

Raw beef can be totally safe. That's why beef tartar is a thing. That's why dry aging steak is safe - bacteria only covers the surface, it doesn't penetrate into the meat.

Salmonella, on the other hand, does actually penetrate the meat. That's why raw poultry is always unsafe.

Also why any seafood you've ever had in a developed country is never "fresh caught." USDA requires that all fish served to customers be frozen at some point, so it kind of doesn't make a difference whether you're getting sushi in Seattle or Columbus - as long as it's sourced right, it's all frozen anyway.

None of what you said in that last paragraph made much sense lol. If we’re strictly talking about sushi, yes it has to be frozen by order of the USDA. But not all seafood in the United States is frozen nor is that the case for other developed countries either.

A Pakistani immigrant in Glasgow claimed he invented the beloved takeout dish with some spices and a can of tomato soup. His death has revived a long debate about who really can lay claim to the food.

I mean, how? If the smoker smoke’s around others sure, but I don’t know any smokers who smoke indoors or in crowds of people.

im completely pro choice, but I also agree rhat my body, my choice has to apply to more than just abortion (and indcluding vaccines) or it becomes a bs argument altogether.

This is a troll and no one with half a brain should fall for it.

The most obvious example of this phenomenon isn't even a GOP governor, it is the California board seat law and the goofy Newsom sponsored tattletale law about guns.

I'm heading out for the evening, I'll see what you have to say tomorrow :fap:

That also was covered nationally thought!

The claim that all governors do this and we just don’t notice is simply untrue.

Governors help pass legislation they know will get struck down in every single state because they are putting on a show for their base. I'm starting to get the sense that most of you don't pay much attention to state level politics, and think what is going on in Florida is some oddity because it confirms your priors about Florida(man).

Please show me another governor who is considered standard GOP fare pushing a law as extreme as the Stop WOKE act for it to be struck down by the courts. I’m legitimately curious.

Not a single thing here is anything more than a political stunt. The "don't say gay" bill stops things from going on in classrooms that largely are not occurring! The election fraud unit, while a menace to the handful of people who have been arrested, was known from the time it was created that it wouldn't produce any convictions (and you can see all the cases getting dismissed already). I'm also not sure what you're talking about with regards to anti-vaxxer rhetoric, the state continues to recommend Covid vaccination.

There is nothing fundamentally different about the governance of DeSantis in Florida, compared to somebody like Kemp in Georgia, or Dewine in Ohio. The difference is almost wholly in the persona DeSantis has crafted with these various stunts. And a lot of you are falling for it :p

The Stop WOKE act is very extreme and goes as far as instructing business how they can and can’t train their employees. Granted, it got struck down but it’s not like he won’t push similar legislation as President.
