After the massive success of the TWD S1, clearly management thought it was mainly related to the licensing. A huge mistake. Plus didn’t help that two of the driving forces for TWD left right after.

As to Bard’s Tale 4‘s operating issues, inXile will be addressing those issues by releasing a series of patches. The first, which is coming in a few days on September 21, is mostly a quick fix to improve loading times, patch widescreen support, optimize the game’s frame rate, add better hardware auto-detection, and solve several smaller bugs. The third patch doesn’t have a projected arrival date yet, but it will include controller support, inventory sorting, and the ability to speed up combat animations. inXile also plans to add a Legacy mode, a “hardcore mode with grid move, option to turn off mini-map, the A-Team, perma-death, and auto-resurrect.”

Two patches, today and Sept 28th, have been confirmed by InXile to hopefully fix performance and bug issues. It is just unplayable for me in its current state which is a shame because I like the combat system so far.

The Devs have said in the past that they regretted the PS+ deal but I do think it is the one of the reasons the game did so well

Yup

Party members that have Pep retain the status when removed from the party. I assume eventually you will get items or skills that let you enter Pep state faster.

Also this is a great month for Xbox. It added CoD MW 2 to its BC list and it is #8 in sales.  In July, MW2 was #321.  This clearly demonstrates its BC is an added value to its brand and is worth the investment.

Interesting you say this. I haven't beaten many open world games considering how many games I finish. If I pop it in my console, games probably get finished between 75% -80% of the time. Open world games on the other hand will lose me quick if they don't have a hook somehow for me. As I think, I that hook is super heroes (Batman & Spider-Man) or something just clicks and I am so engaged like Metal Gear Solid 5. 

A well crafted world is another thing that gets me through an open world. Horizon Zero Dawn is a game that comes to mind that didn’t have a great traversal system but the world itself I found interesting that I played all of it.
