Hard disagree there man. Dualsense is better at everything except battery life. And I swear if the input lag on Xbox controllers is pretty noticeable in comparison. Not to mention the xbox controller feels like cheap plastic in comparison and is just too darn clickety clacky. Friggin noisy controller. lol

I’m kinda set on the PS5 version in spite of it being the worst looking version. Dualsense over the Xbox controller is a no brainer for me. But I mean, it can’t look that much worse…can it?

Me too. I really like the more gritty look as opposed to D3. It was just too cartoonish for me.

I completely re-spec'd my points into water, acquired the ice trap and frost lance spells, and summoned 2 NPC's to help me with him. The ice trap worked pretty well in stunning him, and I was able to just pelt him with the frost lance from a distance while my help distracted him. Just be prepared to counter his red attacks if he turns his attention toward you. I think I was level 47 when I fought him and my morale was 25. I had to grind a bit to get my morale that high. Hope that helps!

Maybe parts of Sekiro were almost as difficult but there was always an exploit with a buff, art etc. 

I want to take this time to thank Team Ninja/Koei for skippable cut scenes.

Sorry, not sure about the demo. I'm playing the full game and he's optional. I think the demo starts you off in a completely different area than the full game.

Are you playing the full game? If so, he's completely optional. He wiped the floor with me too. But I just moved on and beat the first boss, leveled up several times, found better gear, came back and we had a nice little reunion!

I was in Best Buy Sunday and they had Switch OLED’s, Series X and PS5’s all in stock. They had plenty of each. Might as well have seen Bigfoot. I’m over here across the pond though.

It really does have an addicting hook to it. For me, the graphics are definitely a step down from Nioh. But the gameplay is a big leap forward. 

Since it’s on Gamepass I reluctantly gave it a shot. And I’ll be dang if this freakin game isn’t growing on me.

Props to you and anyone who finished it, good stuff. I just couldn't do it. I got to that Samurai at the top of the castle and just couldn't beat him. The lightning phase just destroyed me every time. I tried so many times I just permanently lost my taste for the game. I deleted it and will never look back.

I don't think this is entirely accurate. To me the Nioh games (Which Wo Long is most similar to) felt like an extension of the Ninja Gaiden games which predate Souls games, and are a lot more action oriented. Wo Long is similar to Nioh but actually with some improvement and a bit more forgiving. All that being said there is a heavy emphasis on parries (which leave enemies open for big damage) and if you're not good at parrying then you won't have a good time at this game.

I never finished Sekiro because of the parry mechanic so... yea.

I was not impressed by the latest trailer at all. If that summarized the setting, atmosphere, gameplay, etc then I’ll probably pass. There was not enough to differentiate it from BOTW. Honestly should’ve waited to launch it on a Switch Pro or next gen console. 🤷‍♂️

Wish I could join in the fun. Bought the deluxe version so I could get early access and my body had different plans. Been hospitalized since Tuesday with severe abdominal pains. Spending my days getting MRI’s, blood tests, CT Scans, biopsies, etc. I did get to play a couple hours Tuesday morning before having to go to Hospital. And I really had no complaints so far. I feel like it was just about to open up and let me go!
