Now isn’t exactly the best time to sell office buildings either. Also, Resetera thinking every bank is going to rush to “call” these loans is funny for that very same reason.

He's definitely going to have to sell off assets to pay the judgement if his appeal fails. If he appeals that is.
I believe he has to put the cash up front in order to even appeal.

Watched the first episode and thought it was ok. I wish they showed more of the training like Band of Brothers did to get to know the characters. Don’t see it living up to Band of Brothers but I’ll keep watching for sure.
I had an old neighbor who piloted B-17s in WW2 and it made me wish I got to talk to him more when I had the chance.

12/$325 with $50 posting fee. Seems like the Mets had the largest offer and forced the Dodgers to match. My biggest fear if the Yankees signed him was the years. 12 is crazy for a little dude that’s never pitched in MLB. The contract has opt outs but if he gets hurt or never realizes his potential, you are on the hook for a long time. Snell must be happy by these numbers. Dude gonna get paid.
Snell can’t be too happy with that AAV because he’s not getting 12 years

Literally says you can defer any amount of money in the CBA. Other teams need to read it apparently!

I like the look of the Rivian and it has a lot of cool features and more overall cargo room than typical mid size trucks. I’ve ridden in one and was surprised at the leg room in the back seat. I wish there was a service center around me.

This one is widely-regarded as the definitive biography for Napoleon:

The definitive biography of the great soldier-statesman by the acclaimed author of Churchill and The Last King of America—winner of the LA Times Book prize, finalist for the Plutarch prize,...Nearly finished with this. I really enjoyed it and am realizing how much I didn’t know of Napoleon. It’s amazing how much of the British propaganda about him is still believed today.
Now I’m probably going to go down a rabbit hole of reading about the battles in more detail. Might just do that in order starting with his Italian campaign.

Listen, my mortgage is locked in at 1.29% until spring of 2026, so I just need rates to drop back to that level by then! (Canadians typically can only lock in rates for 5 years on mortgages due to the differences in the industry between Canada and the US).
I personally don’t think we will see the rates of 2020-2022 for a long long long time.

Ah gotcha - didn't see that one!
Yeah they seem to be confused with their messaging or maybe just playing both sides so that they can say they were right! Sort of like the economists who have been predicting recession for the past 8 years.

They are done raising rates unless there’s a sudden change of direction and now everyone is predicting when the next cut will happen. Fun times.

Getting hyped for the movie Napoleon in a few weeks and curious what the best reads are on his life? I’m sure @Commissar SFLUFAN has one or two recommendations?

I have gotten into Tarkov and am having a lot of fun. I am not good, die a lot, some very suspicious deaths but yet I log in every night to play a couple of hours.
