Broseph insulted my sexuality, reduced it to a “parade” as if that’s all that happens to people like me in that part of the world, repeated an anti Semitic statement, said the healthcare provider who has legitimately watched kids die and is deeply traumatized by it to this day, RIP Kaylee I am forever sorry,is fine with it: user can’t be taken seriously.

If you have a problem with a statement calling for the freedom of an enslaved and oppressed people, then maybe you should take a deep look at your views on the matter.

And I didn’t insult your sexuality. Just your idea that people shouldn’t have pity for or call for the end of a genocide of children because they don’t agree with your views on sexuality.

I’m sure you enjoyed those dead teenagers at a music festival slaughtered by terrorists and hostages who have been beaten and raped for nearly 8 months now.

I didn’t. I have empathy for those who are unjustly murdered. And what about the Palestinian prisoners receiving the same treatment that Haaertz has been reporting? Palestinian prisoners have been dealing with the treatment those hostages may have been going through for decades, but yeah I guess Hamas is the only bad guy in this conflict

A few union meetings ago I was blessed with hearing one of these people give a pro Palestinian presentation full of lies and fabrications.

standing up and turning my back to her was very cathartic

I’m sure you enjoyed that. Killing children and watching parents hold their charred remains must be acceptable with you because we can’t hold Gay Pride parades in Arab countries.

From the river (West Bank) to the sea (Gaza), a Free Palestine will stand alongside Israel, and Israelis and Palestinians will get the peace and quality of life they want. Any opposition to that is because the presence of Palestinians in these areas means that zionists cannot achieve their own vision for an Israel only for the Jewish people.

It'll be on that block of voters when Trump interns and deports a couple million people, they have the power to stop it and are deciding to not to so they can feel better about a conflict they knew nothing about 6 months ago. If that bloc was serious about Palestine they'd be pulling Biden to call for a peace summit, instead they just want to freeze the conflict again until maybe next time something something Palestine will be free.

The bloc has been pushing for Biden to call a peace summit, and it starts with a ceasefire and a path forward for a lasting peace that leads to a Palestinian state. Biden prefers to keep drawing imaginary red lines while continuing to send weapons and aid to Israel to help them continue their operation

I disagree. It's a candidate's job to convince the public, but it's the public's job to research and understand the issues. Democracy relies on both.

You can never achieve the second when you give the average person the right to vote. People will always vote based on their feelings and a sense of what is right to them, they won’t consider the economic or foreign policy impact of each candidate. Despite everything that happened in 2020, Trump still got 46% of the vote.

I think it's a bit of both. If a politician knows that doing or saying something with alienate a big part of the voting public, then they are definitely dumb (or maybe it's calculated). At the same time, a large part of the voting population is also dumb for how they decide to vote based on different things.

It’s the candidate’s job to convince people to vote for him. And people will vote based on their needs and positions on different topics. It has always been this way. Biden has done everything in his power to alienate the voting block that got him into power in 2020 while supporting a government and group that prefers Trump to him. If he loses in November, it’s entirely on him.

  7. The idea that the Israelis wouldn’t completely annex the West Bank and push out the Palestinians under Biden is pretty damn laughable. He’s shown that he’ll do absolutely nothing to stop the massacre in Gaza, and he wouldn’t do anything to stop what Israel has planned for the West Bank except pretend to show concern about what is going on there

I think you need to re-read what was stated. The idea that anyone said the US has no leverage on Israel is not only disingenuous, it’s what is actually complete and utter BS. The leverage created is the reason for those aide packages. But, hey, enjoy what happens to Gaza if Trump gets reelected: you think it’ll be the same but good fucking lord are you blind.

90 percent of the territory is complete rubble and tens of thousands are dead (pretty much a significant more are buried under rubble). The territory is completely uninhabitable for years to come and there are no working hospitals and universities, along with infrastructure to support what is left. Literally the only way this will get worse is with Israeli settlers taking over the territory, which will happen with or without Trump in office.

The only reason Biden is pushing so hard for a pause and restraint is because he’s trying to keep his coalition of voters together that got him to the White House in 2020, but he acted way too late to save his chance in November.

I dunno, pretty sure Trump would be doing the same thing. Trump has proven time and time again that he cares about civilian death tolls. /s

Biden could have done this months ago, instead of quietly sending weapons and ammunition to Israel multiple times. And Israel receives most of its ammunition and weapons from the US, especially what is being used in Gaza:

    Quote

Israel would not be able to conduct this war without the US, which over time has provided Israel with about 80 percent of the country’s weapons imports. Israel is using them as part of its large-scale military operation that has so far killed over 11,000 Palestinians and destroyed hospitals and civilian infrastructure

The idea that the US doesn’t have any leverage on Israel is complete and utter bullshit.

... that Trump would be worse for Gaza than Biden? Not much of a conversation; Trump's son-in-law is talking about how it'd be great beach front property for resorts ffs.

Palestinians in Gaza are being bombed and systematically targeted. It’s hard to get even worse than that.

Besides, Biden wouldn’t do a damn thing to keep those resorts from being built anyway.

The new system also makes it impossible to go drinking on your 21st birthday since now you have to wait for the new ID in the mail instead of them just printing it at the DMV.

It depends on the state. I was able to get my license printed in SC when I went to apply for my Real ID License in 2021 (unless they changed it since)
