As opposed to your clever quips about me being dumb because of where I live? From a guy who lives in Florida? Whose biggest schtick is shit humor for the last decade or more? Nah, I’m done with you. You’ll be gone soon enough.

Well that’s sad to hear. I guess we can’t be friends. Let me know if you change your mind.

Oh man, that’s a new one.

Seriously, why did you come back? You really thought you’d be welcome here, bringing your hateful, bigoted, fascist bullshit here? Just fuck right off back to the hole you crawled out of.

I popped in to see if Fright and IAW were still here. I’ve always liked Wade. Lots of memories going back 20 years with some users.

You’ve always been lame. You follow the herd and want so much to be part of the crew. Your takes have always been boring and you are just a boring person without much to add to anything.

I was going to keep it to myself but you started with the personal attacks. Fascist, so brave! Hopefully someone saw you say that so you can be cool for a bit!

i would say the GOP could not have run a more unlikable person than Oz. A literal snake oil sales person.

A study in the Netherlands showed that 98% of teens who got puberty blockers went on to get gender-affirming care afterward, and it's not explained why the other 2% didn't, so you can't even assume that it's as high as 1 in 50 that decided in that time that they were "going through a phase" or whatever.

A new study from a Dutch clinic found that 98% of transgender adolescents who received puberty suppression treatment went on to continue...

Giving kids puberty blockers is some Josef Mengele level shit. Countries are moving away from it.

Wait till they are teens. Everyone thinks they are trans. I went through this with my daughter at 15. She’s now 18 and fine. Kids now going through normal growing up are being told they need to get on hormones and are the opposite gender.

  6. I voted for Obama and I voted for Clinton in 2016. I liked Obama, still do. I think he gave a shit about the job and tried for consensus including the ACA. I really dislike Clinton, but I thought she would be a technocrat, at least interested in running the country efficiently.

I think the Dem Party those 2 belonged to are gone.

If I’m right, start voting Democrat until the republicans shake off the authoritarian shit. You can work with democrats on getting better candidates and moderating positions you don’t like.

That's how I feel about the GOP. I'm not a fan of the abortion moves. I REALLY wish that issue would go away. However on things like taxation, modern day cultural issues, crime, I'm more on board with the GOP. I didn't vote Trump before and I won't in 2024.

What they say privately is irrelevant. It’s what they say in public and what bills they pass or don’t pass that matter. A huge portion of the GOP base is convinced that the election was stolen and supported Donald taking over through a coup. Elected officials, notwithstanding what they say in private, have to appease a brainwashed base of support that you have chosen to cooperate with and support. There is a point of no return and imo the GOP has already passed it regardless of Trump. It’s unfortunate that you and so many others are not seeing it.

You aren't wrong. However Bill Maher pointed this out in a recent segment, the Dems are so bad that people are willing to vote for Herschel Walker over them. Not because they like Walker, but they REALLY don't like them.

The Dems could end this nightmare with a decent candidate, not Biden\Harris, in 2024.

Forgot to post a week ago, but got my new Prius Prime in. It was supposed to take 12+ months, but only ended up being 4.

It's a plug-in hybrid, but so far I haven't used any gas at all since the electric range is 65km and my daily commute (and only every second day) is about 10km. It's really cool driving electric, it's way more responsive. Also nice to not have to buy gas, and even in a coal-using province like mine, the power cost is far less than gas.

The party is currently committed to these beliefs. There’s not going to be any shaking them off if people vote for the current GOP. You got Mitt Romney and a handful that are openly resisting. Everyone else is on board the train, including yourself whether you realize it or not. This isn’t like saying voting democrat is voting for socialism or communism. There are hundreds of GOP politicians elected and running that are in powerful positions that are on board with stealing elections.

If someone votes for the GOP, they are supporting authoritarianism.

I disagree. I think most of the party doesn't like him privately. They have to put on a happy face in public as he still has support.

I think the majority of people will take whatever monster the GOP is right now over what the Dems are. The trans stuff isn't flying anywhere but with white liberals who hate themselves. Big cities are basically war zones under Dem control. The 3rd stimulus sent us into an inflation spiral.  Midterms will be a wash out.

Harris has to be the worst VP I've ever seen. She's worthless.

What is appealing to you about DeSantis?

He got off to a good start in FL. He pushed through the legal marijuana law that Gov Scott sat on for a year. He upped spending on costal cleanup, raised teacher pay, got rid of common core. I like his moves on Disney. The "Don't Say Gay" Bill was anything but and a real common sense law.

His response to Ian was great, FL currently has a surplus.

I read that he appeals to Latinos because they like his "swagger". He's not afraid to be combative with reporters. I think he will sail to White House on cultural issues alone.

That's ableist. You aren't being respectful to the micropenis community and penis size comments are very toxic masculinity perpetuating.
