Today is my birthday, if anyone wants to sell me a 3080 I'll pay above retail

I'll pay $150 over msrp for a 3080/70. The more i read about this gpu catastrophe, the more i realize it's not going to end anytime soon. I'm on cue for all the evga 3060TIs, 3070s, and 3080s. There's people who've been on them cue's for way way longer than me who haven't got shit. And with the scalpers all over the internet, it's impossible to get one. I have no microcenter or bestbuy near me.

Game should never have been released for ps4/Xbone. They should have emphasized more that this is a true next-gen game, and not to expect the full experience on current gen.

btw; i woke up this morning and just couldn't justify spending 850 on a gpu as much as i want it. I think i would have bitten for 750. I'm gonna try my hardest to atleast get on the evga cue on the 25th to get a 3060 for msrp. Maybe then I'll atleast know I will get my upgrade within a few months hopefully.

shit i love u sflufan. This is money i do have to spend. I'm just contemplating 850 on a gpu. That is a lot for a mid-range card! There are many games that i can't enjoy because of my 1060 though. I am a full-blown graphics whore too. I could save this money and wwhhaaiitt for a decent price on a gpu, but that might take forever. If i don't, I will spend the money on tattoos.

I know it sounds crazy, but $850 seems like the best bang for buck for what I'll get looking into the future as I understand this fucking drought is not gonna lighten up anytime soon, and i hope this may be an investment, meaning the card still has good resell value in the future before new cards, or GPUs are available for msrp

You only live once. I got a local seller giving it up for $850 flat, no shipping, no tax. Thats a damn good price. If not PLEASE find better or tell me why I shouldn't.

I'm at the crossroads. I'm at a point in the game where there's no annoying waypoint, and I can play the game just exploring and shit and enjoy that.

1 = waiting for a solid patch before continuing the story

2= hopefully i can get a 3 series card for msrp and build a new pc ground up

3= i can knock out the story with a 1060 6gb with bugs and low fps

i want option 2 the most. If i could get any 3 series card for msrp i'd bite right now. I'm willing to wait, but doing the same shit over and over without leveling up is getting repetitive, but i'm still enjoying a lot for the time being. Any guesses on when 3 series GPUs will be somewhat available for msrp? I'm willing to wait a month, maybe 2

Just a tip. Numerous times i find myself in the middle of a mission and the game starts to get glitchy, sometimes it will not even let me reload my guns. I found that if i save the game at that point and then load that save, it fixes all the problems and i don't lose any progress.

im starting to get the meat and potatoes of this game. Once you get all the mechanics down, holy shit. This is a world i can see myself being lost in for a LONG ass motherfucking time.

There are so many easter eggs. I love the "does he look like a bitch" pulp fiction reference painted inside a beginning area. No Life 3 was eh

The game could have released WAY more polished and run better, and not have so many bugs... and a huge let-down. The game we got is a buggy mess atm, but the game itself is great, and the bugs are fixable.

I had an issue with a certain npc's speech text not disappearing. I could travel all over the world and after a full mission i could still see what he said as a text from anywhere in the world, lol i guess. Restarting from an earlier save, and then loading a current save, got rid of the text from hell.
