  1. This monitor is only rated for 400 nits, but reviews show it hitting right near 600. Played Resident Evil 2 remake, and the difference between HDR and non-HDR is enormous. I cant even imagine what an HDR1000+ HDR monitor would look like now

And, damn, the monitor i got does indeed have a shitload of IPS glow. Way too distracting. Have a new one on the way, I hope it's much better. Even at 30% brightness, this thing puts out so much grey in black scenes that it's distracting.

  2. no, but i did just get finished setting up this monitor. so far, it's bright as fuck! I set it to 100% brightness, maybe i should turn it down? But damn... it's definitely a 10 bit panel with 165 Hz for $300... I'm about to do some color and motion tests

  3. should i sell my 3080 for $800 and spend $400 more for a 4080? Then, I could sell my 4080 and get a 5080 when it comes out

or just wait for the 5080, sell my 3080 for idk, and ... see what i mean? Gonna end up costing the same either way ... may as well get a fucking 4080

  4. Im using that back fan as exhaust. Playing PowerWash Simulator right now for the 1st time, ... of ALL the games that have ray-tracing(this one doesn't).... but it's very relaxing though!!

I am looking for the best 32" (maybe 27) 1440p monitor I can get. I'm willing to spend. I don't want an ordinary IPS. I really want a display that has full-array backlighting atleast. It will be my baby.

Wanna thank you guys for the help, i'd probably be rocking this 13700 on an expensive air-cooler. (i love this ID COOLER!!) I take lightly to youtube videos, i know you guys are better than that. Meaning i slightly trust youtube vids, but i know damn well, an educated person could help me a lot more with what im asking fo

Rear fan should be exhaust. It helps to pull the fresh air coming from the front so it gets to the radiator fans. Side panel should be on unless you want to fill up with dust :sadsun:

I got this thing for $40, and there's always similar ones that work just as good. Every day I just blow any dust off it. I use it all around my place every couple days too, takes a few minutes, and gets all the dust. Behind the tv, above pictures, in xorners that are hard to get. It's just free compressed air whenever you need it. I can't live without one.

  6. BenQ PD2700U 27 Inch 4K UHD IPS Factory Calibrated Computer Monitor for Designers with AQCOLOR Technology, 100% Rec.709, sRGB, DualView, Eye-Care Anti-GlareKVM Switch, Daisy Chain, Height Adjustable

    A.CO

Im trying my hardest to stick with 1440p

Im thinking my case fan in the back should be an intake fan, yes? 3 on the front panel are all intake as well. The 2 fans blowing outward are mounted on the radiator on the top. im looking at it, and it seems like if the fan in the back next to the I/0 shield was an exhale, it probably would not be doing much at all since its so close to those top fans, but if i use it as an intake, than that may give more air to the top exhaust to help cool the radiator.

Im leaving my side and front panels off. Not only does this leave for extremely better airflow, but noise levels are still quiet and it all looks so sick like this imo

I’ve heard good things about that monitor, I would also consider and compare it with these two:

    https://a.co/d/4m8V2T3

    https://a.co/d/dGHzxHw (32”, though)

I was kinda looking at something more like

I really want to spend a little more and try to get the nicest monitor possible, but with thinking about that, my place would be perfect for a 55" OLED home theatre pc.
In that case, 50 - 60 inch OLED.. Price = $2,000ish at the most is what im looking for. Willing to wait, if there's something special coming out soon

  8. shit, im sorry yall, im just ^^^ and shit. Im still proud of myself though, that was the 1st pc i've built in many years, and it came with a pamplet lol. i remember when we were cool for not even looking at em. Now, im tryinh to atleast see the names of the proper headers on the mobo and shit. Absolutely N O instructions to anything. So, i was surprised that i did it all right the 1st time. And then the shoe fell
