Man I'm really bummed out to hear that, you posting here is the only reason I was able to snag a PS5 from target. If I happen to luck into finding another ps5 by some chance it's all yours <3.
As for your question: you're almost certainly going to get better performance on PC. PS4 graphics card is more or less equivalent to a GTX 780.
Being an open world game CP2077 likely does lean pretty heavily on processor, so overclocking would likely give you a pretty decent boost, but the difference between a 4760k and a 10700k isn't all that substantial for gaming performance in games that are optimized well, which I'd assume CP2077 is.
You’re too kind. Thanks. Eh, I’m not mad anymore. Was at first. Is what it is. I’ll snag one, no worries. If you do and wanna sell it, I got ya back. Thanks friend

Had a PS5 preorder. Lost it. Due to my bank flagging it on 11/7 as “suspicious” and Target cancelling. Sucks. Is what it Is.
Would you play it on base PS4 or my PC?

They never should have made them I'm the first place.
I’m happy I did personally, because it was $50
Had it been the full $60? I wouldn’t have. Simply because there’s no benefit to have said pre-order. None. Now, if it were a digital copy with a pre-load available, I get people doing that. But pre-loading isn’t ever available until around under a week prior to launch.

It’s been popping up for $10 off (if you preorder) off and on the past couple of months. I snagged it at Amazon for $50. So, these people are only dicking themselvesYep. Got mine for $50. Amazon. I’ll let it stand please

This simultaneous launch nonsense can piss off.
They should release the PC version as planned. They won’t because they’re afraid of the “optics” of such

I could see Ubisoft doing the same with Division 3 and no one complaining.
There's also the 12% cut vs 30% cut with EGS exclusivity. Oddly enough, they're actually passing on most of those savings to buyers.Well. I’d complain. Any FULL priced game that requires online play and subscription is an abomination to video games.
Perhaps if it’s a $30 buy in and then required such or whatever. Fine.
There was a 7.6% of me buying this game. Now... there’s a 0% chance
I’ll wait till it’s FTP or under $20
Hold up... how is charging $70 “passing on savings” to me?

lol all the negative replies.
Not going to say it's deserved quite yet but charging more on console than PC and require a PS+ subscription and an internet connection to play solo is pretty garbage.
Bingo. I mean, looks ok and such. Not awful.
But $70 + REQUIRED Plus and Online connection?
Whew. I don’t think so Tim.

I think it'll garner mostly low 90's but considering the expectations that would probably be a colossal disappointment to many. I simply don't see it redefining a genre in the way that the Witcher 2 & 3 did, but I don't think it needs to in order to be a tremendous game. Even if it's basically just a GTA / Deus Ex hybrid I'm totally on board for that.
It’ll do well. It can’t possibly live up to the hype. No way. However, this will be a fantastic game that’s a blast to play. That’s just fine by me in that case!
November will be a Demon Souls/Cyberpunk month for me.

Waiting for the PS5 version
Sucks it’ll be next year. But, there’s a 0% chance I’ll wait until that comes out. I’ll get the PS4 version to play on my PS5. Hopefully it’ll at least have much faster loading and maybe higher frames.

Despite my initial and fairly strong indifference, I still picked one up. At first I thought I was just a sucker for zeitgeist, which I totally am, but thinking more on it, I think it's just the part of me when I was a kid and never, EVER had a console at launch that gets to take control for these kinds of impulse purchases. The Switch was the first console I ever got the day it came out, I guess the PS5 will be the second. I can't say I'm completely thrilled by anything I've seen so far, I'm sure I'll enjoy Demon's Souls to some extent, but it always was my least favorite of the Souls games.
I guess the biggest thing I'm excited for I won't be playing at launch: The next God of War. I found the "first" game to be fantastic, and hope they can keep up that momentum while refining the few parts of combat/leveling that were a bit off. Was definitely one of the best games of the generation, and seeing it was out next year was probably what convinced me that I probably want a PS5 sooner than later, rather than waiting on a possible nebulous PC release in a few years.Call me crazy. GOW is overrated. Don’t get it twisted. It’s a fantastic game and was a blast to play. But it’s far down my all time list of games. With that said, I welcome the next installment.
I am weird and found Fallout 4 to be better lmaoBut, no one can deny Sony exclusives and they’ve been killing it lately

Nobody needs proof that I like physical media (if you do, see the retro forums). Yet with that said I pre-ordered the Digital Ed ps5 for many reasons.
1) the cost was far more palatable after tax $563 vs $712. That’s more than a game for me. Sure I can afford the difference but I have other things I want to buy. Hell at $712 I probably would hold off and buy at a later date as I have tons of other things to play anyways. I don’t need a ps5 but it’s part fomo, part I always get a new system at/near launch.
2) Psn doesn’t charge tax here on digital games. So they end up cheaper at launch.
3) I actually bought very few physical PS4 games, Like less than 10. Yet I do have access to quite a few digital games.
4) PSN has had great sales on games all the time. I’m actually seeing better deals on psn than retail half the time.
5) My game/retro collection is getting too big and I’m getting low on space so not having ps5 games around saves me space for something else I can’t get digitally.
Those are some of my reasons. When needing a ps5 with a drive comes, I will just sell my DE unit and buy the drive model but by then ps5 will be cheaper and probably a lot smaller too.
We both had launch Vita’s 3G models as I recall 😂 you’re in Japan correct?

Your preference (and mine as well!) is part of Sony's feature strategy, where you can hop from game to game near instantly, through a series of freeze states. Its very cool and the kind of feature that you don't technically need, but once you get use to it, you will not want to go back. Discs will be an obstacle to this new way, and Sony knows it. We're all be nudge toward the "right" way.
I’m excited for this gen. Why? For THIS reason. Loading times exponentially lower and game states saved like that.

I like having games ready to go without swapping discs. Especially as I have different games I play with different friends. So if I see a buddy on a game I can quickly join in without having to find the game I want to play and change discs. My kids also have an Xbox in the play room that can access the entire library, even the same game at the same time. Would have to purchase two copies of the game to do that if physical.
I feel that. Again even my PS4 collection is majority digital.
Goes without saying on PC. In Steam alone I have 550 games

For digital or physical?
Streaming and TV

Digital film streaming is getting better but your at the mercy of the company you are streaming from and internet bandwidth for quality. Ive had good luck with Disney and Netflix, Hulu and Prime are very hit or miss for me.
I’ve used all of those and it’s fine. But my issue is, it’s 2020 and content is still SEVERELY lacking. It’s why in 2014 when the craze came, I held off. Content is tiny

I’m getting the disc ps5 so I can play my 4K physicals. I buy my games digitally
Never owned a 4K movie.
Though I did just get a 4K tv in June. I stream some. I’m assuming it’s not quite as good compared to physical?

Yeah, I'm the same. I love the feel and smell of a physical book. I mostly use my Kindle for good deals on fiction. It's also handy to read in the stand while I'm hunting.
Wait till kindle can emulate the smell of fresh pages and hardcover books

Worked great for Sony. I spent the extra $100 because I fomo’d myself into getting one after pre orders were a cluster fuck after the PS5 streamI truly had planned on picking one up at launch. Like at a store.
I FOMO’d myself into paying for it now 😂

The Kindle Paperwhite uses the e-ink screen, which is damn near identical to paper. I only read on it, not my iPad or phone.
I'm about to hit 70 books on the year. I read far more than game these days.
Wow. I mean, I wish I could do it. Truly. Reading and me never got too close. Just saying. I do enjoy short stories every blue moon

I wasn’t able to get the DE but I’ll be 100% digital on the phatty. I should have just held out for the DE but I’m a weak impulsive person.
Nice. A digital only person who ponied up the extra $100. Win for Sony lmao. I kid
I didn’t have much time to think myself. It went up and I went and clicked quickly

I struggle with books. Kindle is so convenient, yet I still have about 500 physical books on my shelves to a little under 200 on my Kindle.
Books on a screen is absolutely a NO
I am not much of a reader, but if I want to read a book, it’ll be physical.

I wonder how much cheaper physical will be if digital becomes the mainstream option.
Retailers will have deep sales to get you into that damn store

As much a "pro digital" person I am when it comes to games, when it comes to everything else I am 100% physical, books included.
Sex is better physically for sure. Agreed.
