I never heard of that stat but that's remarkable if true.
It's even better. In 22 win or go home games, he was 22-0. Champion of champions. And for as great as a player he was, an even better human.

Not sure if I need to spoiler tag this, but will anyways
SpoilerI'm guessing the origins of the bands are going to be related to the ten rings in Shang Chi. We're starting to see the different realms and their items showing up on earth. This explains the stinger at the end of Shang Chi with Captain Marvel and them saying it was acting as a beacon once it was used. The clan destines knew the band was used by Kamala in a similar way.

I would have thought a better spin-off sequel would have been with Arya exploring west of where the maps stopped, no?

Inquisitors really need to beef up underwater security of their fortress. Second time in 5 years they've been breached.

I mean the notion that grown ass adults couldn’t catch a kid that young within a few paces is bananas, but that one baddie really seemed to like admiring the trees mid chase.
There are a couple canonical questions I have, but I’m at the point in my Star Wars fandom where I’m just curious as opposed to caring. Spoilers for these 2 episodes and Rebels:
I wasn’t aware anyone in the Inquisitorius knew that Vader was Anakin? My guess is we’ll find out the 3rd Sister was one of the Younglings that saw him at the Temple during Order 66 and she hates Kenobi for being Anakin’s master, or something that fits in with that while also simping for Vader.
The Grand Inquisitor dies in Rebels, so… I have no idea what’s happening here since this takes place first?
I’m psyched for more young Leia.
SpoilerYup, one of the younglings in the opening scene is a girl with similar hair style as Reva. My assumption is she was one of the survivors.
Also, assuming grand inquisitor is not dead since he's still alive in rebels which takes place after this.

At some point too, you need to start building to… something. The first Phase or 2 (I can’t keep this shit straight) tipped its hand about the Avengers early, which teased Thanos, and that carried them all the way through Infinity War. I don’t know that you can “go back” to a buildup to… Force Works? West Coast Avengers? I don’t fucking know. And then have THAT tease the big bad for Phase Whatever-It-Will-Be-At-That-Time. Are they really gonna wait until Fantastic Four KO’s Kang or some shit to tease Galactus? There’s no “Avengers” equivalent on the future film timeline now, so who knows.
I think they are building multiple different story threads that might not necessarily lead to all the characters they are introducing being part of a singular finale of that arc. We are seeing a god/cosmic arc, multiverse arc and then the lower street level arc. I just don't see where the new black widow/hawkeye/cap america really fit in with those first two arcs. So while the infinity saga had one long arc that ended with Endgame, I think we are starting to see them branch out to these multiple arcs that will have different crossovers to support each. Like I think they will introduce either west coast avengers or young avengers team, but they won't be fighting something big like a celestial or Kang but something more grounded.

At least the strip is still part of Clark County with a County Government and I guess County Commissioners. I live in an unincorporated area with all the same services as the towns (most North Carolina local services are county departments anyway, incorporated NC cities and towns don't do much).
With Disney, they are the county.
Not really, they are still in Orange County (mostly) and Osceola County (only a small section of their property is in this county). They have to abide by laws/regulations in those counties. Other than their own emergency services, one of the biggest advantage for them with this setup is for permits to building on property.

With X-Men '97 animated series getting another season and apparently part of the MCU (given it is being produced by Marvel Studios) I found this interesting

Is it strange two of the stronger episodes has like 5 minutes of Boba Fett in it combined?
One of my nitpicks with Mandalorian (very minor because I otherwise thoroughly enjoyed it) was the plot was very simplistic and him just jumping "mission to mission". I was hoping Boba Fett broke that. They kind of did, just not in the way I as expecting by sidelining the main character completely. Maybe they should just roll both of these shows into one (and even include Bo-Katan's story) and have multiple arcs occuring, similar to how the Clone Wars cartoon was set up. The only thing with the animated series is they have much longer seasons, so much easier to have those multiple arcs going. I don't know if they would have the budget to do a single 10-12 episode season per year, or even split into 2 6 episode parts per year/season.

I think he can definitely kill on this show, it just won't be exceedingly violent and bloody with blood splattering against the walls or anything. He can stab someone quickly and they immediately fall to the ground with no blood shown. It's not like we haven't seen people being killed in the MCU before. Even in Hawkeye they were killing people, and Kate is only 22!
They could also go the route they did with John Walker. They didn't explicitly show him killing the guy in the street with blood going everywhere, but then showed the aftermath with the bloody shield.
I guess you can't take too much from it, but the official poster released shows blood on his knuckles/weapon.

I don't think so. Celestials operate over timelines of millions of years, unless Thanos planned on doing a snap every thousand years or so, I don't think it would put too much of a blip on the Celestials' radar.
But, ajax changes her mind and realizes earth is worth saving because the avengers brought back half of all living life. Also, keep in mind that they mention the emergence of tiamut was delayed due to the snap.
If thanos doesn't win in infinity war, ajax has no change of heart to the mission and let's tiamut emerge.

Pretty sure Holland's contract is with Sony, hence the Uncharted role. There would be vey little to stop that kid from doing other movies if he wants and I'm sure he's in pretty high demand. Speaking of Pattinson, they were both amazing in this movie
I just don't think playing Spiderman is the burden folks are making it out to be and I agree with others that the talk of him leaving the role was more than likely a negotiation tactic.
I agree. I mean, it wasn't long ago that he said he would play spider-man until Marvel no longer wanted him to.

No, I don't think that would make it brilliant. Just pointing out what the reference was likely to and why it would come up in dialogue (Peter always making old pop culture references). It's just some throw away quip that Marvel likes to use.

Scooby-Doo this crap!
23 hours ago, Commissar SFLUFAN said:What the freakin' hell was that reference even supposed to mean?!?
My guess is it's a reference to this.
Similar plot, & both Dr Strange and Vincent Van Goul are based upon Vincent Price.
I wouldn't be surprised if, knowing Parker's love of old pop culture, Peter says something along the lines of 'can't we do something like that old Scooby Doo show' which Strange quips back with the let's scooby doo this crap line.

I will start by saying I love The Mandolorian, but one thing I hope they do differently, and would help differentiate the two shows, is to not have the sole focus being Boba's POV. In the Mandolorian about 95% of the show is his POV, and just feels like jumping from quest to quest at times.

Be interesting to see who the wizard behind the curtain is for the TVA now that we’ve been Snoke’d.
SpoilerKang the Conqueror is what I've been guessing even before this episode. My thought is he wants the timeline to follow the "prime" timeline where he conquers the universe. Ravonna has been a love interest in the past in the comics, so makes sense that she was doing her best to keep Mobius from knowing the truth. We also know Kang is in the next ant-man, so this should help set him up in that story.
