Neat, but it bugs me how really uneccessary this is.

That is how I feel. It seems pretty unnecessary. The only thing that I really like from this is expanding backgrounds and making them really matter.

    I honestly just wanted some

nore backgrounds, more feats, and maybe some expansion on weapons/ shields.

My hope is they don’t try to over complicate the game like Pathfinder and keep the game simple.

  2. I finally got to dedicate some time to this game over the weekend and outside of the bugs, which is a legitimate concern, I do not know why Saint Row fans our upset about this game.

It has been a blast and it reminds me of SR2. It strikes a nice balance between over the top fun and a serious tone. I just don’t know how someone who says they are a SR fan and hates this game.

Now the bug side I definitely had to restart the game more times then I like and there definitely is some bugs with clothing, but I haven’t found anything earth shattering either.

I think many fans got butt hurt because Rim Job got changed to RJs and Freckle Bitches is FB and just rather whine about ‘wokeness’ then actually play the game.

Good guy with a gun killed the shooter....the right is all like "see guns save lives" well except for the 3 that died and 2 other people wounded....is this their idea of success?

I live in Indianapolis and they see it as a big win for guns and how anyone can conceal carry in our state bow. In their eyes without the good guy with the gun it would have been so much worse and just ignore if nobody had guns those people would still be alive.

It’s nice to see someone else who really liked Dragon Age: Inquisition, because a lot of people shit on it and I don’t know why. But they shit on Mass Effect: Andromeda as well, and I thought that was really good too. My opinion on games doesn’t always align with the popular opinion, and that’s ok.

As for playing as a dude in these games, having attractive romance-able female characters in them does make it a little enticing but I usually find female protagonists in RPGs and games in general to be more appealing to play as. I find many male protagonists in games to be kind of generic, and/or douche-y.

You are not alone.  I enjoyed DA:I and Andromeda as well.  DA:I was by no means a great game as the side quests got repetitive and it was a bloated, which lead to many of the areas feeling lifeless.  The main story and the companion quests were enjoyable and I had a good time when i just focused on those.  I really enjoyed all three of the DLCs as well.

I hope they learned that more does not always mean better and I am really excited for the new game.

  5. I would love for them to come up with a way to get the digital version in dndbeyond if I already own the physical copy.

I love the encounter builder, but always sucks finding monsters I have to manually build because they are locked behind digital content.

My hope is they build a campaign tool or a digital battle map tool. I use owlbesr rodeo now, but would be nice to have it in a single system.

  6. Just finished Mass Effect 3 and that was a great ride. I cannot believe I never played the series when it first came out. Did this exact same thing with Dragon Age series and Fallout.

I know time travel doesn’t exist because I kept playing those shitty sport games and shilling our 60 bucks for roster updates.

  7. Probably mid 20s. I made enough to live a comfortable life abs go out on the weekends. Work was a 8-5 job and didn’t have to worry about being on call or making important decisions. I came out of my shell with dating and really had not much to worry about.

My 30s has seen moving up in work, but not sure if the added stress has been worth it. Went through a divorce, lost my grandpa that I was super close too and then lost my dad.  Meeting my current gf and traveling Europe pre covid was the saving grace of my 30s.

  8. Growing up my parents always they were Christian, but we watched football on Sunday and dad did yard work or little projects around the house. Only time we went to a church was for a funeral or a wedding.

Rest of the family were either hardcore southern Baptist and Catholics or only went to church on Easter and Christmas.

I identified as a Christian most of my life, but never followed the rules. I didn’t really start calling myself atheist until my late 20s, but kept it secret as my dad got religious as he got older .

Mom is not really religious now after having to go through my dad’s cancer and him waisting away and passing away in 2 months.

In May of last year my company sent out an email one Thursday morning announcing a large layoff and said if you don't hear anything by afternoon you're good.  I didn't do anything that morning and at like noon an email went out that said if you haven't been notified then you're good.  I'm betting no one was working that morning.  There's no nice way to lay people off, but I'm convinced HR orgs figure out the shittiest way possible and go for that.

That is how my company did it this past summer.  We all just watched private meeting after private meeting pop up on people’s calendars. Nobody did any work that day and were told if you had not received a call from the VP by 1 pm you were good. It was not the worse.

I worked for ATA when it shut down and I got to hear about us shutting down while eating breakfast and drinking coffee before work. Showed up, got handed a box, walked through a metal detector, and had 10 minutes to grab my stuff. Then they went through our boxes to make sure we were not stealing stuff when we left.

You guys I’m a bit worried about my Pot use, because it’s apparently going to make me a psychopath. I’ll get right on that path after I find the energy to get myself out of bed and uncover myself from these fast food wrappers.

All kidding aside, do they know that study after study shows the legalization of weed in the states and in Canada also lowered youth consumption. Plus they use marijuana to help PTSD and other mental issues too. It is the return of reefer madness that I don’t think will take off like it did back then. Just nice to have an option to blame the real problem on.

Just deal with with the real fucking issue and stop making excuses to tip toe around it with.

They are just going through the greatest hits. First, they go with lack of Jesus in school, then switch to violent video games and pot.  At this rate they will be blaming Marilyn Manson next week.

  11. The online has been a bit better with their update to the economy,  but it is still

messed up. I always enjoy spending more money on baked beans than I earn on selling a gold ring.

Some of the PvP is fun when everyone has the same load outs, but when your going up against people with semi automatic pistols you stand no chance. I am not going to pay real money to just stand a chance in PvP so probably won’t be playing that much unless the balance is better.

I do not know who thought it was a good idea to use your free roam ammo in PvP too.

new iPad mini? it would make sense since they're still selling an ancient one for $400

We were just talking about what they were going to do with the iPad Mini at work since our Flight Attendants use them and it’s almost time to refresh.

I thought they would kill it off and let the bigger iPhones take that area.
