Nikki Haley's campaign is lashing out at the RNC and Ronna McDaniel following a report that its considering a resolution to declare Donald Trump the presumptive GOP nominee.

I would actually prefer the parties to get rid of the primaries altogether.  Go back to smoke filled rooms where party bosses determine who will be the nominee.

Bring back the Deep State! Seriously though

“It’s a long fuckin’ night. Even the dead get bored.”

It’s so (intentionally) disorienting when everything is dark all the time.

My mind is wanting to categorize everything happening in the show between 9 p.m- 7am. I have to keep reminding myself that I need some context clues to determine what time it is.

I'm not quite sure how it will all work together yet, but I'm enjoying it. The winter night darkness and the isolation by necessity from the elements adds a fairly unique level of tension to the show. I've watched a little bit of that Icelandic show (I think) Trapped and it reminds me somewhat of it, but leans more into some tones of horror with the screaming body, apparition, and lockdown gone wrong. I think the sound track has enhanced the setting fairly effectively too. The pacing seems fairly matched to other seasons, but with 2 fewer episodes, I'm curious if that will change. Acting is solid. Characters are okay so far.

If you're looking for polling suggesting Donald Trump is newly vulnerable ahead of Tuesday's New Hampshire primary, it's awfully hard to find.

The former president opened up his largest lead yet in the Suffolk University/Boston Globe/WBTS daily tracking poll: 19 points, 55 percent to 36 percent for former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, at 6 percent, is a non-factor in New Hampshire, according to the poll, which was conducted Friday and Saturday.

A second poll out this morning, from CNN and the University of New Hampshire, showed the race a little closer: Trump leads Haley, 50 percent to 39 percent, with DeSantis at 6 percent.

The former president opened his largest lead yet in Suffolk University's tracking poll, but a CNN/UNH survey showed a closer race.

The group wants the the former U.N. Ambassador to succeed, whether in the primary or outside of it.

“Nikki has no interest in No Labels, she’s happy with the Republican label,” Haley spokesperson Olivia Perez-Cubas said in a text message.

But it’s clear that No Labels views Haley positively, whether on their ticket or as the GOP standard-bearer. Two people familiar with the group’s thinking, who were granted anonymity to speak candidly, said that No Labels would prefer that Haley win the GOP nomination since she’s a mainstream Republican. If Haley won the nomination, the group would likely not run a No Labels ticket.

Nikki Haley is under pressure from some of her wealthiest donors to beat Donald Trump in the New Hampshire primary, or risk losing their support.

"She needs to win or a very, very close second place," said a lobbyist who is raising money for Haley.

To keep many of her more affluent donors engaged, Haley must get within three percentage points of Trump in New Hampshire, said a Republican fundraising advisor whose clients include Haley donors. If she does not, these donors could turn away from Haley and try to find other ways to stop Trump, including possibly by financing a third-party effort like No Labels, said the advisor.
