  1. I'm a few episodes into season 3. That was a great first episode. I think I stood up a couple of times.

This show has really high production values and isn't afraid to lean into some major character development and build it up brick by brick and then destroy it with some heavy weighted stuff. I'm enjoying how they're using the time jumps between seasons.

Danny is kind of freaking me out though. When that song was playing at the wedding

The Israelis cancelled a White House visit because the US voted to abstain rather than vetoing the UN ceasefire resolution.

It's going to be tough trying to please everyone. Someone is going to be pissed that Biden isn't be harsh enough on Israel while others are going to be angry he's not giving Israel pre-approval for every action they take.

If you’re listening, President Xi — and you and I are friends — but he understands the way I deal. Those big monster car manufacturing plants that you’re building in Mexico right now … you’re going to not hire Americans and you’re going to sell the cars to us, no. We’re going to put a 100% tariff on every single car that comes across the line, and you’re not going to be able to sell those cars if I get elected,” Trump said

“Now if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the whole — that’s gonna be the least of it,” he added. “It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country. That will be the least of it. But they’re not going to sell those cars. They’re building massive factories.”

Later, he added, “If this election isn’t won, I’m not sure that you’ll ever have another election in this country.”

When I read the full quote it changed how I originally thought about it based on the headline.

A POLITICO analysis of primary voter data reveals that Trump struggled in places where a majority of adults are college-educated, including in key suburbs that doomed his campaign in 2020. And preliminary exit polling in North Carolina, Virginia and California on Tuesday showed more than two-thirds of Haley voters in each state weren’t committed to voting for the likely GOP nominee in November. Where Haley voters go — to Trump, Biden, another candidate or no candidate at all — could decide key races across the country.

Don't suppose you've all heard about Ezra Klein's brilliant idea?

Biden steps down before the Democratic convention, and the party picks a 'better' nominee.

Points for originality, but I'm not sure it would work out like he wants it to.

There are more risks with that sort of thing than going Biden. I understand the concern, but it’s time to rally behind our boy.

Nikki Haley is only making Donald Trump stronger by dragging out the race for the Republican nomination, writes Daniel McCarthy.

I don’t believe it helps more than hurts Trump. But it’s not worth saying why because within 24 hours Haley will likely quit the race. If not, she will quit by the end of the month.
