The cost of filming on location in Tokyo practically guarantees that no other service will be interested.
It would compliment Apple TV’s line up and they like spending lots of money on shows that don’t have a huge audience.

It sounds like they want to do more and hope another streaming service picks them up.
I’m pleased how it ended and will continue recommending it. The majority of the loose ends were tied up.

I've been thinking about scooping some Intel up. They seem to be executing on their plan reasonably well so far.

You all are not selling this. Maybe I’ll just wait for Andor.

Nearly bought nvidia several times, but never did. Truly remarkable and congratulations to those that did.
This momentum will not continue at this pace for much longer. I can’t see them topping 7 trillion in the next 2 years. My guess is the increases will slow down.

I’ve had this gut feel that this is going to end in a hung jury. It only takes one maga sympathizer. Admittedly I have not followed the details of this case so I don’t know how strong it really is.

Providing Abrams tanks, F-16s, long range missiles, etc won't increase the risks of nuclear war. This is what Sullivan thinks (and that's all that matters) but the strike on the long range anti-ICBM radar actually DOES increase the risk.
The increase in risk doesn't come from Russia wanting to respond and escalate. The risk is in that Russia needs to know that missiles aren't coming from Turkey (a NATO country and base for American nukes) and losing that radar means they can't be sure. At a time when dialogue between the US and Russia is almost nil and relations are nearly hostile, Russia is more likely to doubt messaging and rely on what they can see. If they can't see... That's a risk.
Ukraine should be given free reign to attack what they need to for success here, but that should exclude the nuclear early warning network at a minimum.
I disagree with Sullivan. I strongly agree with you and others here that striking anti-ICBM radar increases the risk. I haven't read why Ukraine struck this target, but it doesn't take an in depth study to understand why this is risky and bad for Ukraine.
-
I am all for helping Ukraine. I think there is justified concern though that escalating the conflict with Russia increases the probability of a nuclear exchange. The chances aren’t high, but any increase at all is concerning. I imagine there is some middle ground here that allows Ukraine to strike more targets in Russia with our weapons without increasing it much.

I wonder if he uses any racial slurs in private.

He could have been more effective my telling them it’s time for end the Fed. Just copy language from Ron Paul.

The party leadership has taken a pretty drastic turn towards trumpism since the 2020 election. But it sounds like many/most of the party members are having none of it.
Right, with the Mises caucus. I think it’s that in many ways, they are further right than Trump, but in other ways are still libertarian. There’s that no compromise attitude the LP has always had too which will refuse to see Trump or Kennedy as one of them.
-
Trump actually thought the LP would get on board with him? Perhaps he has calculated that libertarians at home are more likely to jump on board.

This is one of the few Netflix animated series that I couldn’t get into. I felt disconnected from the characters. I finished s1 but doubt I’ll fire back up season 2.

I almost bought some at $9. Oh well!

EN.WIKIPEDIA.ORGHere is the law I was thinking of. It appears that it is a lot more complicated than I remember.

It also shouldn't be accessible via the internet - if you want to bet, you have to do it in-person. And I say that as someone who places a bet every now and again.
I thought online gambling was illegal in the U.S. I remember seeing if I could get on the presidential election years ago and found out it was a legal gray area at best.

I watched this a couple months ago. It was intense but damn good.

I'm a few episodes into season 3. That was a great first episode. I think I stood up a couple of times.
This show has really high production values and isn't afraid to lean into some major character development and build it up brick by brick and then destroy it with some heavy weighted stuff. I'm enjoying how they're using the time jumps between seasons.
Danny is kind of freaking me out though. When that song was playing at the wedding

Okay I just finished this up yesterday by binging the 2nd half of season 2. Very good show. It would be a good one to practice Japanese with.
It felt like a series finale, but I was pleased to read that they want to do more. It will be up to the Max algorithm.

At this point Johnson just needs to cut a deal with Democrats to keep the position and share some of the power. The right flank has made it impossible to govern.

Israel felt that they had to strike within Iranian borders since Iran stuck in Israel’s, and they seem to have done so in a narrow way. Now we wait for Iran to make the next move. Overall this could have been much worse.

Looks really bad in France.
From what I read the ultra right wing parties don’t all agree on Ukraine, so at least that issue is preserved. Centrist parties have a majority overall.
