  1. Completed the 50 Burpees a day for a month  challenge. First week was awful. Second was better. Third was good. Fourth was boring.  It is a good summer workout since you don’t need weights to do.

Yeah I don’t know that they treat me great but I’ve never really had to call them to fix anything in the years I’ve had them so they seem ok haha

I was just talking about the experience of being an existing customer and trying to get a decent deal after your contract is up.  Every decent bundle is for new customers and the existing customers can suck a big dick.  Verizon wants me to pay $100 for a package that is extremely inferior to the $80 one new customers get. Insurance companies do the same shit. It’s less annoying with the insurance. Now I will need to schedule a technician to setup Comcast internet for a year until I can go back to Verizon.

I have them(have no choice) and they’re decent enough. I stream and play a lot of games and never noticed any slow down.

Thanks. Verizon, like most IPs, treat existing customers terribly so I have to switch for a year to another service and Comcast is the only other IP available to me.

  4. Great RPS article about it

To me this is similar to JRPG throwbacks that we have been seeing more of lately, where the Devs either fail or refuse to modernize and innovate.

In the beginning, it was enough to release a traditional CRPG and have it sell well because there was a void in the marketplace. It also helped that plenty of players, who never played those games, were interested in trying them out. Once the void was overfilled, you have not seen much innovation outside of D:OS series.

Like the RPS articles mentioned, these games are really long, have extreme amounts of text/lore, and the player experiences long periods of gameplay droughts in a static world.  At times, it feels like you are reading an encyclopedia instead of playing a game. By the time I am done, I am burned out and can’t look at another CRPG for at least a year.

CRPGs aren’t dead, but the current version of them isn’t sustainable. The article gives me hope that Devs recognizes the need for change.

What exactly does $19.99 get you? The game maker didn't answer this in its press release, so we reached out to Valve's Doug Lombardi, who broke down the exact package included in that cost: two pre-made "base" decks of 54 cards each ("5 heroes, 9 items, and 40 other cards") and 10 sealed packs of cards, which each include 12 random cards, one of which is guaranteed to be "rare." Additional 12-card packs will be sold directly by Valve at $2 a pop at launch.

One exception to that upfront cost will come at this month's PAX West. Anyone who waits in line and plays Valve's first public hands-on demo of the game will receive two free keys to unlock the game's base model when it launches on Steam later this year.

Someone hit me up with a PAX West base key

Does playing these in order matter?

There is a continuous story thread throughout the games and I would recommend starting at Zero.  It is a video game story so it isn’t a big deal to skip games in the series.  Yakuza does a decent job recapping the story’s the beginning of each game.

  7. I finished collecting all 8 characters. I am surprised how low level I am for the second chapters. My main is only 17 and everyone else is 13 or lower. I really don’t want to grind levels so do I need to be at the target level to beat the second chapters?
