I use a Honeywell portable swamp cooler but it's an older model. It works well if humidity is under 20% but it really only cools directly in front of it within a range of about 6 feet. Swamp coolers will often get bad reviews from people in high humidity areas that buy one and then complain it didn't work very well or don't know they have to have a window open for it to work properly.

My more reasonable and practical plan I could settle with:

• Medicare for All
• Free college education for all
• Raise social security to a living income
• Have SNAP provide the equivalent of the average amount spent on food by same sized households (single vs. single, 4 person family vs. 4 person family) in the state that are earning the median household income for their household size in that state
• Seize pharmaceutical companies, make the employees that actually research and develop medicine employees of the new socialized pharmaceutical administration. Imprison the c-suites of the pharmaceutical companies and anyone with 1% or more shares for life.
• Make C Corporations illegal
• Make it illegal for anyone who is not a current or former employee of a business to have ownership in it but only current employees have voting shares
• Make credit cards and payday lending illegal. Imprison the c-suites of these companies and anyone with 1% or more shares for life.
• Seize all vacation homes, rental properties, and investment properties and distribute them among the poor who have never owned homes at prices they can reasonably afford with 0% interest loans. Turn former apartments into public housing for the poor that will cost no one more than 1/5 of their monthly income.
• Seize hotels as needed in urban areas to be converted into full service centers for the homeless that will include on site mental healthcare, rehabilitation, and vocational training.
• Pull the military out of every foreign country, scale back the military by 75%
• Ban defense contracting
• Legalize all drugs, release all drug offenders that don't also have a violent charge from prison
• Abolish private prisons and seize private prisons as public prisons
• Put private prison owners, c-suite and controlling interest shareholders of defense contractors, c-suite of every Fortune 500 company, and anyone with more 1% or more shares in a Fortune 500 company in those formerly private prisons for life
• Abolish ICE, investigate current and former staff, and imprison them for terms ranging from 1 year to life depending on the severity of their human rights offenses
• Abolish the CIA and DHS, imprison everyone down to interns for life
• Send every cop who has shot an unarmed person to prison for life
• Make all street cops have to have a social worker with them in their car or walking a beat with them
• Make all officer involved shootings an automatic 3 month paid suspension from duty. Upon return they cannot work in a capacity that requires carrying a gun for another 9 months. If upon investigation it is determined they were not either at risk for their life or saving others whose lives were at risk they will be charged with murder
• Institute a 100% tax on all revenue above $500k/yr for any business whose employees are not unionized unless the business is employee owned
• Institute a maximum wealth increase per year of $250k/yr per individual. All wealth increase beyond that is taxed at 100%
• Cap political donations at the equivalent of one week's earnings for the national median income
• All politicians will have to live in the poorest neighborhood of their district in preexisting housing and will be paid the lower of either the median income for that neighborhood or the national median income for the bottom 50% of the country
• Make NASA great again
• Literally bury the Koch brothers and the Mercers alive in human shit
• Have Jeff Bezos publicly beaten to death with bottles full of piss
• Publicly lodge a Tesla up Elon Musk's ass and launch him into space
• All toilets will be exclusively cleaned by nerds that send people death threats on social media

Sounds like repealing the individual mandate isn't going to be as disastrous as expected but mostly because states have been coming up with solutions to fill the void of subsidies being strangled. Liberals are on board for fearing the democratic socialist because while they find being racist distasteful what those people generally want isn't much of a threat to wealth.
