  1. In case people aren't aware, you can go onto the Microsoft Store on PC right now, if you don't have an Xbox, and get crackdown, crackdown 2, phantom dust and too human for free right now.

I've been considering getting an Xbox for a while so I can play some of my older games (I'm Soo mad that neither of the Mech Assault games are BC) so I ended up rebuying Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Infinite Undiscovery and Crimson Skies, even though I don't have a new Xbox yet.

  2. I know i've posted more in the past 20 minutes than i have in like, 5 years. But i just needed distractions today, and posting and being a bit goofy helps a little.

My dad will be 90 this year, but it doesnt look like he is going to make it to 90, and even though my dad and I havent always been on the best of terms, i saw him today, and it nearly broke me. I honestly thought i hated the man, but seeing him today, sitting in a wheel chair, not even recognizing me at first, going in and out of consciousness, i was just at a complete loss. It was 2 hours each way to reach him, yet i only managed to stay for 30 minutes or so before i couldnt handle it anymore.

So thats it, no it isnt an April Fools joke, i just needed to meddle, and i havent talked to most of you in forever, so yeah...

No Name has a Cheddar and Bacon that just came out, and not bad. My go too is Ruffles Sour Cream and Bacon BUT I open the bag hours before I eat them because they taste better. They’re fucking amazing the next day because they absorb that flavouring. Ms. Vickie’s Sour Cream and Chili chips are a good kettle chip. Presidents Choice has a nice Tandoori Chicken ruffle chip for that exotic taste.

Sweet Chile Heat Doritos are my fav for that variety of chip, along with a good coated BBQ bag (some go way too light on flavouring)

also shout out to whoever made the Sour Cream and Sweet Onion chips I got while I was in New Orleans 10 years ago.

as far as dips are concerned, Philadelphia Dill Pickle baby.

Sour Cream and Bacon? Where the F*** do you find that? We only have Sour Cream and Onion that i've ever seen, otherwise i'd snatch that up in a second.

  4. 28 hours in on PS5 (havent upgraded my PC in 5 years for reasons, so went console), just got my fire powers, and my short "sorta" review.

Fuck the naysayers. This game is a 7 or 8 just on the combat and traversal (gameplay) alone. I could spend days just zooming around this world without a care in the world, and i just got a new power that makes exploring the world even more fun. I actually like Frey and Cuff (even if i did have to turn down the banter), and while the story isnt oscar worthy, what do you expect from what is basically an Alice in Wonderland interpretation? I do have to say, the worlds lore is mostly told by books you find, which i would have preferred other ways for the lore to be explained in game.

This game reminded me of Infamous the instant i was able to actually fight, and Infamous is still one of my favorite series (sadly Sucker Punch probably wont be working on another one anytime soon). Being able to zoom around easily (with the occasional hiccup/hangup), and switch powers on the fly is amazing. You can literally bounce off of enemies to evade them with your powers, where if you are good, you can evade most everything, and while evading do counter attacks that do increased damage.

i'm playing on the performance settings on PS5, so the game isnt particuarly amazing looking at that setting, the huge world feels big enough for the traversal system, but small enough not to feel completely empty.

If the nimble and fast exploration of a huge open world and you like to explore everything you can as you go, and versatile combat system where you can combo just about anything together sounds like an experience you would love, its worth getting now, even at full price.

If you are someone who would explore very little, and try and get through everything as quickly as possible, but the gameplay sounds intriguing, get it later when you can get it on sale.

As for me, it was worth the...yeah, $90.

It depends on how old your gpu is, it has dlss though so if you have a 20xx card you’ll get more mileage out of it than usual and it’ll probably better on pc. I can’t think of an older amd card that would be better to play on than ps5. @LionFranco

    i'm using a 1660 GTX.

I had planned on upgrading this year, but then GPU's went through the roof...
