  1. Maybe I am just dumb but if you have a vaccine that is 95% effective at stopping somebody from getting the virus with 2 doses and 50% effective at getting the virus from 1 dose, and in both cases the remainder get some degree positive benefit (reduced severity of symptoms, lower viral loads) I would think that guaranteeing 1 dose to twice as many people makes mathematical sense.

40 million doses/2 doses per person * 95% effective = 19 million fully protected and 1 million with reduced or no protection

40 millions does * 50% effective = 20 million fully protected and 20 million with reduced or no protection

And this is worst case scenario in which they get no additional vaccine doses to the group. What am I missing?

When they wanted Maul in the animated show to move more like Maul in the movie they brought in Rey Park to motion capture. They had a motion capture actress for Ashoka. Now physically and being able to deliver lines she may not be right for a Ashoka compared to Dawson, but she can body double in in scenes where face is not clear and even better practice and train with Dawson.

It’s not “x was better”. It’s they have the tools to present it better. Maybe they didn’t have the time for this episode, but if the Ashoka series comes to fruition with Dawson I hope they can make good use of the time.

If you didn't think the cartoon did it better you wouldn't be suggesting ways to fix it.

it’s a good thing for me I am able to really enjoy something while seeing areas of opportunity for improvement. And having watched the cartoons provided an incredible amount of context to this episode making me feel really rewarded for being a fan.

    you should watch them.

You weren't describing an opportunity for improvement, you were complaining that the live action fighting was different than the cartoon. "The book was better" logic.

  4. I'm really enjoying the performance boost on Xbox One X enhanced games while playing on the Series X. I'm hoping that Microsoft continues to work on getting patches to increase performance and particularly getting solid 60FPS as often as possible. I feel like 60fps is the sweet spot between framerate and overall image fidelity for these machines.

  5. I bought the FF7 remake in the BF sale. I never had an original PlayStation but played a bit of FF7 back in the day at a friend's house. Looking forward to getting into that one over the next week. So far the PS5 is my single player console and the Series X is where I've been doing all my multiplayer. I have barely touched any native PS5 or Series X games though. Just catching up on all the last gen titles I never got around to playing. Fortunately it is a lot of really top tier stuff I missed and the prices are incredibly low or even free with PS+/Gamepass.

  6. I've been playing the Last of Us for maybe 4 of 5 hours and I'm a little unsure of what people like about the game so much at this point. I find the gameplay itself to be rather clunky and since it is also very repetitive I'm often frustrated by fairly simple scenarios. I'll finish the game but can't imagine revisiting this one even if the story becomes something compelling.
