All my friends on discord are playing this turd and several of them have already spent a boatload. I tried to delicately and politely tell them that they're contributing to what will imho be the death of gaming (without legal intervention).

 

I don't have a problem with microtransactions but the gambling aspect needs to fucking go away. Its scummy and incredibly harmful to certain individuals (and especially kids) but it also sets poor precedent for future monetization of AAA games. This is unfortunately the future we have to look forward to.

Not really. In the immortal words of @skillzdadirecta You can play everything in the game without paying a dime!

 

But really you can.

 

You can spend money to get more resources already found in the game

You can spend money to get more primogems which the game already gives you a whole bunch of just for playing

Primogems are used to make wishes to get more equipment and characters

You can spend money on the battlepass but you can decide if it's worth it because it shows the rewards.

Yeah I think the article actually debunks a lot of that nonsense. Personally for me the most offensive thing about Xinyan is her southern accent, but that's only because I don't like southern accents on anime characters. Hilichurls clearly are not human and like it said they are being controlled by abyss mages. In fact there are several missions with friendly Hilichurls.

I guess it's a good thing they have no black treasure hoarders otherwise someone would get outraged over that.

 

I think the worst part of the game is Oz, Fischl's bird, cannot speak German correctly. He says, "Mein fraulein" but when he says mein it sounds like 'mane' and it should sound like 'mine' Basic German (amirite @Bloodporne )

1.5 coming out on the 28th. There will be a PS5 version too.

 

2 new characters, Eula and Yanfei ( a 5 and 4 star)

I guess the first 3 bosses you fight each week from now on cost half (30) resin so Xbob will be happy (JK he will never be happy)

A new boss - Cryo Hypostasis and 2 others:

Azhdaha, An enormous dragon as ancient as the mountains themselves.

New Elite Monster: Abyss Lector - Violet Lightning

New weapon and artifact.

New Domains

New events and quests
