Need help picking appliances and kitchen items

Recommended Posts

For my new apartment I need everything because my last apartment was furnished. I'm on a tight budget so hopefully decent stuff but not too expensive? Any suggestions would be very helpful.

Silverware

Plates

Cups

Pots and pans

Blender

Cutting board

Pizza pan

Dresser

toaster

Also why do you need a pizza pan? You make your own pizzas from scratch?

Just lay down some tinfoil in the oven and put the pizza on top of it.

Because you can reuse the pizza pan and cut the pizza on the pan.

I just cut the pizza on a cutting board after I move it holding the foil  :p

I've literally never owned anything specifically dedicated to cooking pizza.

Get cast iron pans. Cheap and they will last you forever.

Yes, from a quick Google image search a cast iron seems like a way more versatile substitute for a pizza pan. Way better than teflon too, in my experience it's a no-brainer to trade a little bit of stick because of the pan not being quite properly seasoned over getting cancer from a teflon pan that inevitably starts getting dinged up no matter how much you baby it.

I’ve been buying and selling through Facebook marketplace and it’s been fantastic. It’s also full of free or low cost items people are trying to get rid of after all the Corona Virus clear outs.

He wants new stuff not used. He said that in his previous thread.

Walmart, my dude. Or an ikea if you’re near one. You can get a plate there for 75 cents.

Oh in that case Ikea is the right answer.

I was literally looking at buying this pan today. All my pans suck. I think I want a lid too, tho.

Really? My parents bought me this huge cast iron pan a year ago and it has this massive lid that I never use. Just throw on a lid you have from another pan. What would you be using the lid for?
