How spicy do you like it?

I grew up in a no-spice house. Literally the hottest thing I had eaten until I was 27/28 was hot tamales and fireballs.

Then I moved to Las Vegas and all of my coworkers pretty much forced "spicy" food down my throat. Whenever we would go eat it was always korean bbq places and they almost exclusively order spicy meat, whenever someone would make mcdonalds runs they would only get hot n spicy with cheese. Nacho cheese doritos always had tapatio mixed in with it (didn't have the tapatio version at work so we had a work around).

I grew to enjoy it, but I don't handle it very well. I probably rate it a 4/10 at the highest?

I just didn't grow up with it and never developed a taste for it either. I mean I like some wimpy hot sauces like Cholula on some diner breakfast but that's about it.

I'll never forget being taken to some Indian place in San Francisco and having stomach cramps and nearly shitting myself because the food was so insanely hot.

Love me some spicy food but not like ghost pepper hot but once in a while I don't mind the kick.

A few years back I managed to drop a fresh bottle of ghost pepper hot sauce on the floor while taking it out of the fridge.

My eyes were fucking burning while  cleaning that up.

Did I ever tell the ghost pepper story from my family's restaurant a few years back? I indirectly almost blinded a dude.

Years ago, my family went out to dinner for my grandparents' 45th anniversary. I was eating spicy crawfish and when I cracked open the shell on one, some of the juice shot directly into my eyeball. Oh, god, I'll never forget how awful that was. We were sitting a ways off from the bathroom and my husband(we'd been dating for a couple years at that point) had to guide me down the steps to a bathroom. I couldn't see. My eyes were streaming. Had to stand there and flush them for a good 10 minutes or so. Took a while to really recover.

Thankfully, it didn't destroy mt love for crawfish, though!

I got some tacos in Mexico once, and some juices ran down my arm. My skin burned for hours. I like spicy, tho, so it wasn't bad in my mouth.

So it started in your mouth and then ran down your arms? No time to wipe yourself up in the heat of the moment?

Tacos, so like while holding it some liquid ran down my arm wrist to elbow. It didn't taste crazy spicy, but I guess that's because I eat spicy regularly.

Well it's pretty much like pepper spray lol, I've actually managed to forget I had eaten some wings with a mixture of ghost pepper and went to take a piss oh god did that burn for a while it was like my dick was literally on fire. I remember now to wash my hands before I touch anything after eating wings lol.

The problem is soap and water doesn't really get capsaicin of your skin.
