No actually, just tried it again. Even hit reply on your post and copied the exact tweet's link to make sure.

Are you doing this on mobile or desktop?

 

You can check the URL, make sure it is short (Clicking on the date usually goes to the root URL) and copy that URL.

 

Don't go to the link that says embed tweet, it won't embed correctly and if you copy the embed code on that page. You can copy "link to tweet" but you have to wait a bit for it to embed because it's a funky url.

 

For example your link should look like this: https://twitter.com/agsuduiko/status/1417133186635599875

Yup, doing exactly that and it still doesn't embed the actual tweet. No worries, thanks for the attempt though!

 

Edit: If I go to Embed Tweet and copy the exact same URL under "What would you like to embed" and paste it here, it works.

I’ve noticed when you copy a URL from edge and paste it it just posts a weird link.

So I was looking at Twitter, and Shinobi has been struggling on the Biome 3 boss.

 

Reading through the responses, everyone is recommending the Rotgland Launcher to him.

 

I couldn't recall what the hell everyone was talking about, cause I don't think I have that weapon.

 

I just fired up Returnal for the first time in a long time, and yup, no Rotgland launcher, even after clearing all levels 100% basically 6 or 7 times.  

 

Must have been part of that glitch that made certain stuff not spawn after you cleared them once.  

 

Hoping they have some new content added to the game eventually so I have a reason to jump back in.

Oh the Rotgland launcher was one of my go to weapons especially when it's upgraded.  The Biome three boss is probably the toughest one because of the nature of the fight, but he's not impossible. I think the Pylon Gun would be better for someone struggling with that fight.

Reading the replies, you don't get the pylon gun til after Biome 3.  Either way he did use the Rotgland and beat it next try, and it did seem to melt the boss's energy.  

 

 

The shotgun weapon I used melted this boss down so quick, especially if you got really close.  Granted I almost died trying to learn what to do, I found this boss to be rather easy overall thanks to the shotgun.

That's not true about the pylon gun. I got it in Biome 1. In fact it was the weapon I used to beat that boss for the first time and I hadn't even gotten to biome 3 yet. The pylon gun was either the second or third gun I unlocked. Don't know why they would say you don't get it until after Biome 3. Are they 5alking about a different gun?

Ya I don't know, thats just what I read in the responses.  I literally used the shotgun my first full run through all biomes, so never bothered with other weapons.  My guess is I found the Rotgland but didn't pick it up to unlock it.  Hopefully it respawns again now that they patched it.

Didnt the Rotland have range problems? One of the 3 times I died on the last boss was because I was having trouble hitting that fucker.

Here's me using the pylon gun to kill the first boss. 

 

 

I definitely had not beaten biome 3 at this point yet. It's possible I had been to biome 3 and unlocked the gun and died, but I definitely hadn't beaten it yet. I know this because I had such a tough time with that Biome and when I did finally beat it i was elated.

Rotgland does have limited range which is why I would t use it on that biome 3 boss.

Rotgland also has to have limited range because its poison effects are top notch.

Watching Shinobi's clip of him finally beating the boss, the range seems more than effective for just about every encounter in the game.

I ended up uploading my save, deleting the game and starting from scratch again

To put it in context at least slightly...the game doesn't have a menu or anything. Can't pick New Game or Load Game or anything, it just starts.

What I love is Housemarque was always a developer I loved, but this has really helped spread more awareness as to what they're all about.

 

I say go experimental with Returnal 2: have the player be one of the bosses and sit around at the end while @Joe or I try to get to the end, allowing you endless time to contemplate the fine intricacies of life.
