I didn’t even get to the Biome 2 boss yet There’s a shortcut to get there though since I basically was there. However, I went back to powerup a tad before the fight and got my ass rocked lmao. Then I saw the shortcut and I went to powerup again and got my ass kicked again lolol. This was over a week ago though. The amount of concentration for most of these types of games just doesn’t work for me. I’ll space out thinking about work for a minute and then everything is lost. I can do hard games like Celeste if it lets me replay quickly at where I left off, but not this style. Edit: To clarify I’m glad i bought it still and put in a good 20 hours and I’m sure I’ll play here and there still, I just never got past the first boss. It’s really a fantastic game that is a must for anyone who can do this sorta thing, just wish it was willing to meet me a little more in the middle. Played through all of Biome 1 and beat the boss, Phrike, without dying once after one false start somehow. Made it a good bit into Biome 2 afyer but had to srop for the day when it dawned on me that...wow yea, no shit you can't even Save & Quit like in Souls. Not doing that Rest Mode nonsense for who knows how long. Thw system is so absurd, I actually had to let myself get killed because I wanted to spend time with my girlfriend That aside, this game is insanely atmospheric, jesus. I was completely lost in it and its lore. If it wasn't for the goofy rogue structure, this would've been THE new Metroid they haven't made. I will add though that despite the combat feeling awesome, the weapons kind of blow at this point. The lack of a Save & Quit truly is as stupid as I've been reading. It doesn't add tension to me, just made me roll my eyes. I was just bustin balls but yes can its just not consistent on how you can get it. Mine only spawned after killing Phrike and it spawned in front of the house.
