Tens of millions out of work and relying on these measures and this isn't a fucking deal breaker

Typical Democratic limp-wristed bullshit with making concessions before the negotiations have even started. :guillotine:

If they were the GOP, they'd start with $2k a week to make landing back on $600 a week seem more palatable.

The idiot made us do it, but we'll remove it to make it seem like we caved while gutting UI benefits!

CES is going to be online for it's 2021 convention in January. I think this is the first major conference/convention to forego in person gathering in 2021. I fully expect this to be the case for most such events well into Q2 of 2021, and potentially further.

Imagine if they weren't waiting until the last possible moment to pass something.

Though that trump doesn't want to kick millions out on the street is surprising.

Having the "a" in there makes it work best if you imagine Mario saying it.

https://financialpost.com/news/economy/canadian-economy-grew-4-5-in-may

Canadian GDP grew 4.5% in May, and 5% estimated for June.  Overall it has gained 10% total since the bottom of the trough in April (at -18%), meaning over half of the contraction has been reversed. Still a ways to go, but the rebound seems to have been stable so far. It seems like CERB and the business payroll aid + commercial rent support has been effective. I believe right now it has been extended into September.
