FFX on switch. Bought while it was on sale from BB at like $35. Got to the Blitzball tournament and stopped.

Just kind of in a gaming slump right now. Don't really feel like playing anything even though I just got Link's awakening.

Pretty much every summer I have that feeling. I have the time, I have things to play, but I can only sit down for 20 minutes before losing interest.

I mix it up then with reading, music and movies and then come back to gaming as the weather shifts. Usually with either a really well reviews game or some shorter experiences.

Jotun, Astral Chain and BFV.

Jotun is absolutely gorgeous.  The gameplay feels a little slow, but i just started so maybe it will pick up. Fought a boss already and it was a pretty tough and fun fight.

Played through the first mission of Astral Chain - so far it seems like a really cool concept but i don’t think handheld mode is the way to play. Might need to play this one docked bc it seems like the gameplay is a little more involved.

BFV - wanted to try out the new map, Al Sudan. I loaded in and instantly hit my longest headshot at 332m (on a moving target no less) with the krag. The map is a snipers wet dream.

Since I broke out my Wii the other week I decided to order Skyward Sword and the MotionPlus controller online and finally get around to that one.

I'm having a shitload of fun with this game so far. The introduction was painfully slow/long-winded but once Faron Woods rolled around I was hooked. It feels like almost every room and area is absolutely packed with fun things to do, secrets and things to discover in general. I also really like the motion controlled sword combat. I'm still trying to get the full hang of it right now but I'm enjoying it. Currently near the end of the volcano/fire area, the second real dungeon I guess, and it's fantastic.

Even as a grown ass man, there's some magic in these games I can't quantify and there's just such a meticulous focus on engaging fun. I always steered clear of this entry due to lots of negative impressions but so far, I don't see it despite the rather rigid/handholdy nature of it.

Been switching around stuff lately. Finally started Kingdom Come Deliverance. I like it a lot, but it does make me want to see what they could do if you were say a dragon born or the last of the ancient race of whatevers. Because yeah, the game is clunky. I get that you're just a peasant and all, but I want to see what they would do with at least a decent combat system. Yeah I get that  peasant from 1400 AD wouldn't have a targeting reticule on his bow, but Jesus Christ it's a video game work with me. This is one of those games that all but forces you to take your morning shit or have a buff/debuff applied to you.

Got sucked back into Dark Souls, specifically Dark Souls Remastered. I had this for the PS3 before my original PS3 died and I lost my save 70 hours in. Bought remastered last year but never touched it. Started it last week and got sucked in.

Never been more feverishly addicted to a video game in my life. I nearly quit my fucking job to keep playing I swear.

Remastered has some bullshit sound glitches that they never bothered to patch which irks me so I haven't picked it up. I'm a huge fan of the original's sound design and they fucked it up in quite a few areas not to mention the weird lighting.

I think I still have my original copies of Dark Souls for both the PS3 AND the 360 :p I'm gonna finish it this time for sure. I beat Demon's Souls so I should be able to handle Dark Souls.

I've beat Dark Souls multiple times...with every class on the game.  :epilepsy:

The DLC is stupidly obscure to access but man, it's really really good content. This game got me interested in video games again and with a bang at that. The last new game before that I had bought was Ninja Gaiden I think.

My first time playing the game, I got incredibly lucky and somehow beat him on my second try and kept bashing my friends for calling that boss hard as fuck. Ever since I've gone through the game about three more times and each time he's insanely hard for me...karma's a bitch.

I'm making steady progress in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Moon. I'll admit that I've looked at a guide a couple times to see what to do next. I understand that retracing your steps and poking around the map with each new ability is a key part of this sub-genre, but I guess I just don't have the patience for it.

Finally finished AssCreed Origins.  I didn't like how the final boss/target was handled.  I had a level 40 Bayek with legendary weapons, but nope, gotta fight him with Aya. .

Attempted to play Bloodstained, went into the menu to change my equipment and it flaked out on me, so I threw my hands up and shut it off.

I beat Links Awakening on Switch. It was a fun game but really felt the dense and the puzzles where heavy. Fun game. Anyone who plays this and hasn’t played link to the past should follow up with link to the past.

Have you played Astral Chain?
