What a fucking bummer. That's the only thing that would've won me over to this series, even if on some discount sale only, but not with typical modern AAA sticky ledge type sloppiness which this reeks of. The only real question is if I'll be done with Spider-man before it arrives. Even at the rate I'm chewing through Spidey, that seems unlikely. The old Lara wasn't just a character model. She was a persona. The tone and gameplay reflected that. i.e. why climb up on top of a ledge when you can do a handstand and then cartwheel onto it? Why do a backflip off a truck, shoot the driver through the windshield, and then land on a jeep, when she could just shoot him through the window? Because she's Lara Croft, that's why.
