JosephManderley Posted June 22, 2018 Author Share Posted June 22, 2018 One interesting thing I have noticed is that this Switch seems to have better WIFI than my launch one did. I can get a solid connection in bed with this one, my first one wouldn't always connect in my bedroom, and when it did it was not a good enough connection to play something like Splatoon without issues. Had to sit closer to the router for that. Do we know that Nintendo improved the WiFi, or was my launch unit just a bit dodgy? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
The def star Posted June 22, 2018 Share Posted June 22, 2018 My Switch isn't a launch unit but it does have wifi issue. Or at least it did last time I turned it on. I can’t get a signal on my second floor and the Switch has trouble connecting to WiFi after being turned on from sleep mode. Worst WiFi that I have experienced with an electronic. vaxick Posted June 23, 2018 Share Posted June 23, 2018 WiFi on my launch Switch seemed fine. Siginal strength wasn't nearly as good as my other devices, but it never dropped on me. Honestly, the only disappointment I had was with the screen. Blacks just never get that deep on it and colors just don't pop compared to a Vita or phone.
