Joestradamus Posted January 19, 2021 Share Posted January 19, 2021 The only going out we do is to pick up Target groceries curb side, otherwise we do Target, Walmart, Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods delivery for groceries and other things. I may go out to home depot to pick up lumber for a project I want to do at some point, but we'll see. Also, my wife, who is a social worker/case manager, normally works with people (many of them homeless) in person. Currently and luckily she has been working from home, doing things remotely by phone and email. But because her work doesn't know how soon they'll get back into the office, they managed to get everyone appointments to get the Moderna vaccine. She went in for her first dose a few weeks ago, with the second dose scheduled next week. No reactions with the first dose, just mild soreness for a few days at the injection site. That's a great graphic. Too many people say things like "masks are only 20% effective, there's no point!" But if things are even a few % effective and there are enough, it really adds up, especially with something that is exponentially spread. My kids are sad because we are neighbors and they literally go over there everyday to check on my folks and now they can’t for at least a couple of weeks.
